Tani Bon 03/08/2017 17:37So this was an overnight trip with my husband, my son and his dog. The check in was easy and the location was awesome. Everything is within walking distance. There is a grassy park across the street for those wanting a place for their dogs to do their business. The river is right behind the hotel but takes a small walk to actually get there. The room we rented worked out great. It was two separate rooms so that we could all have some privacy. There was a fridge for our use to which was nice. The bathroom was nice and clean as well. The only thing I would note is that you must walk upstairs to get to all rooms. So if that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. We would stay here again.

caitlyn960on 01/08/2017 19:06The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. We could tell the hotel was old and in need of some updating but because of it's location we were out and about exploring Leavenworth for most of our stay.
The biggest thing that needs attention at this hotel is the plumbing. The toilet gets clogged if you even just think about using it. And the sink is slow to drain when you use it.
We had a west facing room and there was no view. That didn't bother me much as this hotel has a balcony at the back with great views where guests can sit and hang out.
Do your research ahead of time, dishonest staff
Carly Gon 01/08/2017 16:59My girlfriend and I had attempted to do the enchantments and camp out but she got very sick and we had to turn around. We got back into reception and looked for a hotel. We found that the Bavarian Ritz had a room available for $116 on expedia. It was very close, so instead of booking it on my phone we went straight there. When I arrived he said the same room would be $129. I told him I was just on expedia and it was $116. Then I looked down and the room was listed at $119 on the price list they have in the lobby. I pointed this out, and he said it was the "off season" listing and it wasn't updated yet but the price was $129. I didn't say anything and then he told me he would give it to me for $119. We were desperate for some rest so we stayed. The room was clean and decent so no complaints there. They only let you turn the AC to 70 so keep that in mind when staying here. Later when I was picking up some food their price listing on the outside of the hotel had the $119 price. I really think he was trying to rip us off. I wouldn't stay here again.
Needs a serious overhaul!
rr97756on 31/07/2017 19:31My wife and another couple went to Leavenworth for the weekend to enjoy the Christmas lights and festivities. Leavenworth was awesome, but the Bavarian Ritz was dirty and gross!! The smell, the carpet and the bedding was disgusting. I would never recommend staying there.....we were super disappointed!!

Lisa Mon 09/07/2017 16:18Rooms terrible small... no front desk for a time to get ice, towels etc..... dated, old beadspreads, the picture on the website is far from the room we got. White making reservation it was stated we would have a room facing the water... there was no water anywhere close to this motel totally misleading. Made a reservation for the fourth of July because it was on the top of the list of motels available which is not an indication of quality.... definite learning experience for not only trip advisor, but site unseen booking.
