Scarecrow2802on 13/06/2017 00:18We had a lovely stay at Bay Inn Petoskey. It's located just outside of the town which always suits us. Nice view of the bay beyond the road (noise from the road could be heard in the room, but better at night). Room reflected a nostalgic feel although some would say "needs updating". No breakfast. Micro/refrigerator/hair dryer in the room. Clean bathroom but sink was in need of replacing. We did experience a strange squeaking and shrill noise when the adjoining room's shower, sink and toilet were being used. Staff was friendly and helpful. Moderately priced (no AAA, AARP discounts etc.) for a no-frills, comfortable stay.

Kim Mon 01/01/2017 01:22Went up to Petoskey to visit where my son was relocating. Beautiful area! Stayed at Bay Inn Petoskey. Really nice hotel with a beautiful view. Owners are very nice. I think I found my home when there!
Clean place with nice view
Kimberly Pon 06/11/2016 04:46Outdated decor but clean room :) Friendly staff. We arrived after office hours and they had our key taped to the office door with a Welcome note :) Close to downtown Petosky which offers some nice shopping and eateries.

Evey Gon 29/10/2016 20:31This a mom and pop place. When they retired this is what they wanted to do! Yes it is dated, but this place is very clean. The beds, pillows are very comfortable. Plenty of linens. Microwave and refrigerator. The view is great! There was so many clouds we did not have a good sunset! That was disappointing!
Between Charlevoix, which has great places to eat around the Lake Charlevoix. The north side has small park with walk out to light house. Then 31 takes you to M119 that goes to Harbor Springs, the Tunnel of Trees and Cross Villages, all in about 20 miles. The colors are beautiful.

rayray1010on 20/10/2016 04:03We stayed here for our honeymoon wkend. Called the owners 2 wks. Prior to see if I could get roses and champagne in our room as a surprise. They were so happy to do so for me. They put us in the end room for privacy. What a GREAT room. Very clean!! We would leave for breakfast and come back to a clean room, and fresh Towels. Awesome view, enjoyed the benches outside our door to just relax and enjoy the view. We have stayed many places and the bay inn by far has surpassed our expections. Will definitely be returning time and time again. Price just right as well!
