We booked the Bay Willows Inn for one night on our way to Martha's Vineyard. We decided to spend an afternoon/evening in Newport to break up the trip. We chose it because it was pet friendly as well as extremely reasonably priced.
It was perfect for what we needed and only 5 minutes to downtown Newport. We were greeted by a very friendly woman at check-in who handed me a bag with water, snacks and 2 Dunkin Donuts cards to use for breakfast in the morning. The room was very clean and comfortable.
I would recommend this cute little motel and would stay there again!

This is an old-fashioned motel. One story. Parking right outside your door. The place not only looked clean, it even SMELLED clean, and I don't mean it smelled like products meant to cover up odors. Old furniture, but I wasn't moving in; I was just staying overnight. If you're concerned about cleanliness, this could be a perfect place for you, and it's not even 10 minutes from Newport.

Great little small motel. Spotless, lovely woman at the front desk who greeted me with a "Welcome" goodie bag. Comfortable bed, right next to Newport at a very reasonable price. Great value overall !!

At the junction of 2 main roads the motel is either well located or not, depending on your needs - ours was for a quiet nights sleep! Our room had no double glazing, an air conditioner that didn't work, a shower that dripped all night, and windows that it was impossible to open - one frame came out completely when I did try to open one. I left it on the floor, which naturally left our room unsecured. If you are into junk food the D Doughnuts voucher is useful.

Wanted to stay near New Port and not break the bank on a room and spend money elsewhere. This motel fit the bill. The room was small with a very small shower 30"x32". The bed was okay (bouncy) and the window ac was functional, although took a little while to make the room cold and the avg night temp was low 60s. Received a small gift bag upon check in which was a nice touch (bananas, apples, granola bars, chips , candy, water). The TV was an old tube (30") with a blurry screen and distorted color, We didn't spend much time in the room so overall it served it's purpose. Most important, the room was clean, even the shower curtain. Daily housekeeping was making the bed, clean towels and refilling supplies as needed ( toilet paper etc). but the room was not "cleaned" cleaned during our stay and the sheets weren't changed. However, we don't change our sheets at home daily nor clean the bathroom every day so all was good. Good location for traveling to New Port and surrounding areas.
