No Air Conditioning
TravelReviewer1242on 23/07/2017 15:18Room was clean and useful parking options. However there was no air conditioning and the surrounding area is loud which made sleeping in the summer difficult. Would have been OK if it was advertised as a two star hotel. However, it is advertised as a four star hotel and was therefore incredibly underwhelming

190764Ramblingmanon 10/07/2017 20:58Stayed here last year and didn't look at any other hotel when we went back to Dresden. There is not much wrong with this hotel although a couple staying in a room at the front told us the trams, traffic and trains kept them awake. The day we arrived the garden was being used as an overflow car park, the first time they put tables out for a barbecue it rained, typical. The wi fi reception seems to have improved, the staff were without exception very pleasant and efficient. Would we stay here again, definitely.
A very pleasant stay
Ingrid Mon 01/11/2016 21:07This very personal and charming hotel has style and atmosphere where we felt like home. The personnel is very service oriented and friendly. Our room was excellent, the breakfast buffet offered a huge choice of different food and most important the hot meals were always fresh prepared. The eggs and bacon didn't sit for hours in a warming pan.
Convenient hotel for Neustadt, Dresden
David Eon 14/10/2016 23:53It's got its own car park, which was (unusually) one of my priorities, but Hotel Bayerische Hoft turned out to be an excellent choice for a good-value stay.
Within an easy walk across the river to all the museums, and almost opposite Neustadt station if you're arriving by train, this is a very conveniently sited hotel. (If you don't feel like walking, several trams also pass the door.) Request a room at the back and you'll find the hotel is also surprisingly quiet.
The reception staff were very helpful in getting me a reservation at a great restaurant less than 10 minutes away in Neustadt. In the morning, a good breakfast set the seal on a very satisfactory no-frills stay.
Good hotel but high level of noice if you have the room in front of the street.
cstan343on 17/09/2016 18:01OK if you haven't the room near the street. TOO NOISY. The dinner solution is good but a little bit too expensive. It is better to take the dinner downtown (price and divercity). Reserve also the parking in advance, otherwise you will look for nthe parking outside
