Nice stay...
FlaGrownon 27/08/2017 21:40Clean, close to shops and restaurants, very friendly staff. Strong chlorine smell in the lobby (from indoor pool). No elevator and a rather odd configuration...must go upstairs then downstairs to get to room...not fun if you are hauling suitcases. Other than that, it was a nice stay.
Needs Some Attention
sjwAmeson 27/08/2017 18:47The Good: The staff was pleasant and helpful, the room was clean, and the cost was reasonable.
The Bad: Pretty outdated, the hallway carpet is badly in need of cleaning, the breakfast pasties, cereal and juice offering could be upgraded. Not a big thing, but - based on years of travel- most of us expect that hand lotion will be provided along with shampoo and conditioner, but not so at this inn. The staff, bless their hearts, did scurry around and brought some in a dixie cup, but a warning to bring your own would have helped.
Also need to make clear that access to both the first and second floor involve stairs. I made a point of asking for a first floor room as, I was traveling with an individual with mobility issues. I was given that floor but the 8 -10 steps down to get to it came as an unpleasant surprise.
Problems
christinehM6980URon 22/08/2017 19:39This is the first time in over 15 yrs we have been unhappy with the room. Not the staff but the room.
All the plugs were pulled out and the TV kept losing the signal. They immediately came and worked
on it and offered us another room several times. Once you are unpacked, no one wants to leave
and start again. Than to add fuel to the fire the toilet backed up.

cebroukon 22/08/2017 17:46Our room was a little musty and not as clean feeling as I would have preferred. The price was a little steep for the quality. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. The lady working the morning shift was eating the breakfast right on the counter where the breakfast was being served. It was a little unprofessional.
Will be back next year!!!
Stacy Don 16/08/2017 15:22This was a great stay, Kathleen was fantastic (shes a keeper) was so helpful when I had to change my stay. The place was clean, the pools were awesome. They made it happen for friends that I went with - all of our rooms were close together. The breakfast was awesome, the place was full, but everyone was respectful and quiet. I will be choosing this place every year for my annual lake trip. Its in a great location, food and gas stations close. Even the cleaning ladies were amazing.
