Surprisingly good
David Non 16/08/2017 20:21At first you're going to have a little apprehension because of the neighborhood. Yes it is in an industrial area but I wasn't there for the neighborhood. What was important to me was that the staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and orderly. All for a good price.

The front desk staff gave us good suggestions for the type of restaurant we wanted. They were friendly, efficient, courteous. We will definitely stay here again when in Albuquerque.
Avoid this Baymont Hotell
FreddyMa5400on 04/03/2017 03:47Check-in clerk knew nothing about local area as he started four days prior to our arrival. While driving around building to our entry door we noticed small red and white posted signs stating to NOT leaving anything in your vehicle as the hotel was not responsible for any theft. This was not a good feeling for us. We went in the building and looked at the room assigned. It was not up to Baymont standards by any stretch of the imagination! When we attempted to go back out to our vehicle to gather our additional bags, we were UNABLE to open the exit door to the outside! At this point I walked to the front desk and cancelled our reservation. The GM was there and was overboard with kindness and assistance to our leaving....such that it was visibly forced. This same GM only offered 500 of my 3,000 points used for the reservation. Within one hour I contacted Wyndham Rewards as well as Baymont Customer Service to initiate a strong complaint against this location. I clearly stated that the name Baymont should not be on the building and Wyndham should be embarrassed in the same way. Further, I placed a call on an administrative to the Albuquerque Fire Department and left a voice mail expressing the door not opening as being a fire hazard. DO NOT stay at this Baymont location.
Price Was Right
N3088LCkimbon 01/03/2017 17:04The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. The front desk clerk was very helpful. Location a bit scary, so I made sure to park right outside the front door and had no problems.
