Nobucrewon 25/08/2017 18:56The stay was great for the value minus the check in, the only hotel personal on hand was sick and throwing up going back and forth to the bathroom. There was a problem with a guest checking in as well and 5 people in line took over 20 minutes for her to realize it and went ahead and checked others in. The couple in front of me walked out and after checking me in she left to rest room to get sick again with a lobby full of mad customers.
They should of had more than one staff memeber available for 3pm check in
Room from the 60's??? Disappointed!!!
Cindy Hon 24/08/2017 03:26We always book Baymont through Wyndham Rewards and stay at the Tulsa hotel normally, but this one in Amarillo was such a disappointment! The TV was old and small, not even a flat screen. The curtain had holes in it. The comforter was old and clumpy. The furniture was from the 60's as was the decor. The shower knob was broken and a lightbulb was out in the bathroom ceiling light. We will never stay there again!

DWGreggon 13/08/2017 07:21Checking into the hotel with quite warm the lobby in the air conditioning didn't work. There's a smell of pet odor in there. One customer had caught a spider underneath a cup and said it was a brown recluse. Could be my mistake but I thought I was getting a room with a refrigerator and a microwave after asking the front desk they said they only do that if you stay more than a week and would not provide one. So if you have small children that require milk or medicines needing refrigerating this is not the place for you. The room floor was just clean but it's still look dirty. The gap underneath the door in the hallway allows excess noise and the pet odor to seep through. The haphazard fixes in the bathroom drain in the bathroom door are subpar. The electrical outlets don't work. And the most important thing is the air conditioning cuts on and off during the night. It is very loud. The compressor shuts off first and then 30 seconds later the air conditioning shuts off even if you set it on manual mode. Does not allow for a restful night's sleep. I'm on the first floor and the second floor is very loud you can hear small children walking around. Your morning breakfast of what I called powder eggs and water down gravy and biscuits were definitely not appealing. Recommend the cereal. It also doesn't open until 6:30 so if you're planning for an early breakfast and hit the road you will miss breakfast. The red lights from the alarm clock has to be hidden as they are so bright. The pool did not look like something I would attempt to swim in. I'm having to cancel my second night and move hotels because the pictures do not do this place justice. it is a subpar Hotel worthy of a 1 Stars. Even the employees are tired of apologizing to guests that was overheard.

910terrison 06/08/2017 01:37I had stayed at the Amarillo East Baymont on my way out, and it was acceptable, not great but if I had to, i could stay there again. This West Baymont was truly disgusting. The carpets throughout the hotel were filthy. The hallways and my room smelled terrible, musty and smoky. I found packets of coffee creamer, sugar etc, under the fitted sheet on the bed. It made me wonder if they had even changed the sheets after the last guest. The bathroom was truly gross. It did not look like the tile and grout had been cleaned - maybe ever. The bottom of the door frame in the bathroom was rotted away! It was rusty and moldy looking. This hotel just does not look like it has been maintained well at all. I did not eat the breakfast, the eggs were watery, it just did not look appetizing. I was truly disappointed in this hotel. IIn my opinion this was overpriced, I felt like I paid for Baymont and got Motel 6.
