Never Stay at This Hotel
Daisyk72on 30/10/2017 19:40After a long 9 hour drive I arrived at this hotel late in the evening to find out the room I booked was not the room they describe on their website. I booked a suite with two beds, picture shows this suite as two rooms separating the beds from each other allowing more privacy for the guests. We ended up with a room that had the basic two beds, side by side scrunched very close together, very little room between one of the beds and a desk. The remaining part of the room, was a giant jacuzzi type tub - It was GROSS. The description of the room did not label this suite with a jacuzzi!
The floors were dirty, the shower had no water pressure, the tub in the bathroom was little and had scratches all over it. The sink was backed up when I woke up the next day with hair floating all around it. The coffee maker had mold in it.
Thirdly, there are no elevators to get to the second floor - the stairs were filthy and grossly worn down. Carpet pieces on the baseboard were torn off - Nothing great about this awful place.
Upon checkout the following morning, I explained to the man behind the desk whom I felt was the acting manager, about the room being the wrong one given to us. He was very defensive about my complaint after I mentioned all of the above. He sternly told me 'Baymont' is NOT affiliated or part of the Wyndham brand. He tried to make it clear to me that what you book online is not what you get. They don't have anything to do with the online website and what you are offered, as far as room descriptions. Basically this hotel needs to be removed from the Wyndham Brand. It's in the category of slime type of hotel. The parking lot was filthy with people smoking pot on the back side of the hotel where I parked. It's not a clean place and honestly, those who pull off the side of the Highway 5 Interstate who didn't book online first, will get charged more than the rooms are advertised on their website. They will rip you off.
I will followup with a letter to Wyndham with a letter about this horrible hotel they have their name attached to.

We went to the wrong city first, I lost my wallet and the man at the front desk found it and called the other hotel to tell them. We finally got to the right hotel and somehow booked the wrong room. The woman at the front desk fixed it without a problem and we had an amazing stay in the best room! I will stay in this hotel anytime I am in the area!
