diannef994on 26/08/2017 00:21The hotel is great. Close to the airport, clean, roomy, and provides a nice breakfast. This is the second year I have stayed at the Baymont and will stay again the next time I am in Des Moines.

S167HMannegon 23/08/2017 19:00Overall, an excellent experience. The front desk greeted me warmly at both check in and check out. Quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Soft water with separate drinking water faucets. A nice variety for breakfast. The breakfast host was very friendly and helpful. My only complaints were there needs to be better lighting in the parking lot and employees need to check for doors propped open. We found one entrance door propped open in the morning. Not sure how long it was that way. Also, when we go to the breakfast at 9:30 am (it closed at 10:00 am) there were no more eggs or sausage left. They should have been better prepared, as this was a very busy weekend with the State Fair being in town. If we need to stay in des Moines ever again, we will stay here again.
