A disgusting dump
Dennis Zon 27/07/2017 23:29My company booked this hotel for me for Thursday July 27th. The first room that I got the door was kicked in and horribly fixed. The second room was also kicked in and also had pry marks for where somebody was breaking in to the room. The odor was so strong, I was in there for 5 minutes and was able to taste it. I had to sit outside while my company booked the Holiday Inn for $20 more because that place was so disgusting. I wouldn't let my dog stay there. I wouldn't even stay there if they offered me a free week.
Unimpressed
sarahjharmson 25/07/2017 11:33Not at all impressed with the room - won't be staying there again. The room was very humid, even with the AC running. The caulking in the tub was moldy. I also wasn't happy that they claim to have a 'green' towel policy but they replaced our towels every day. Breakfast was horrible - no selection and danishes were tasteless.
Didn't meet expectations
119marjoriehon 15/07/2017 03:03The price did not match the quality of the hotel. This was my first time staying at a Baymont Inn and I was expecting a much nicer hotel. If I were to come back to Jackson, I would not stay at this hotel again.
Sticky Carpet/Clean Bed and Bathroom
Tina Lon 06/07/2017 21:35The hallways were dirty, some from make shift construction and some from the age of the building. The room had gross carpet, sticky spots all over but the bed and the bathroom was very clean. For everyone who has a credit card that is also a debit card their policies are bogus. They either hold double upfront on your card for TWO WEEKS or you have to pay upfront for your stay. Which is why we got stuck without recourse for the gross carpet in the room. Baymont should also not tell their employees that every hotel has the same policies because that's simply not true. Overall staff was very friendly.
Nice stay if traveling with dog
Carolyn Son 03/07/2017 19:21I was competing with my dog at a nearby school. The front desk staff was very welcoming and even had dog treats (not just food) of all kind as a 'welcome'. They have a couple of really nice grassy areas (with dog stations and poop bags) to walk your dogs. The room was close to the exit door as requested. There were a couple of stained areas on the carpet and the faucet in the bathroom tub had a pretty big gap between it and the wall but it worked fine. Bed was very comfortable. Room darkening curtains were great - there was an exterior light outside my window which was no problem. I would stay here again.
