Communication of desk staff was nonexistent. Asked for late checkout 2 times. We were back a half hour before that time

We returned to checkout at 11:30 after receiving a snotty phone call to come get our dog that checkout was at 11:00. Front desk never delivered message. Uncalled for!

Denise Mon 01/06/2017 19:43Night manager was awesome -- We are CLC lodging members and after making another reservation at Red Roof Inn and then telling us when we showed up to check in, that that day was a black out day, we contacted your hotel and he couldn't have been kinder accomodating us at the last minute. No problems or complaints with the rest of the hotel either
Waste of good money
richardlD8446SIon 18/05/2017 00:07After checkin, went threw 3 rooms to get a clean room. Came back for the last night's stay and the room was torn apart, never cleaned and dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom
Overnight Stay in Pet Room
Denise Ron 15/05/2017 23:00Unfortunately the weekend we were there the property was in the middle of changing out furniture and doing remodeling. The problem was that the room we were given had not been checked to make sure everything was working after the remodel that happened that day. Nothing was plugged in, phone, microwave, coffeepot, only TV and a couple lamps. My husband had to move the microwave out of the cabinet and put it in a spot where it could be plugged in, and of course, we were unable to call the front desk. The staff was struggling through to help guests get these issues resolved because so many of the rooms were affected. Apparently there was no one to check the rooms after the remodel prior to allowing guests to enter. This must have been a lack of communication between manager and staff, or even the moving people. No one was clear as to whose job it was to check the rooms. We did ask for a discount because of our experience and we were given $10 off. The room we booked was $94 and we thought that was way too high for the type of room we received and the location of the hotel property (not a great neighborhood). The breakfast room was messy from guests leaving stuff everywhere. The young lady working in the room was doing her best to get it cleaned up. Also there were noisy guests in the breakfast room after they had eaten just playing loud videos on their phones. Hopefully these issues will get straightened out in the future.
