I love the location of this hotel, but it needs some updating. I had a bulb burned out in the bathroom for three days that was never replaced. The sheers on the window were ripped and had some sort of stain on them. The television was not set up correctly, so they had to come to room to reset. There were no typed instructions. I was never give the wifi password so I had to go outside to use the internet. It is a nice building, but could use updating. Even trying to rate this place- the buttons keep defaulting to EXCELLENT and I don't want to answer EXCELLENT.

This Baymont has a convenient location just off the highway and near plenty of restaurants and Purdue. The rooms are not great but do the job. The front desk staff was nice.

Really disappointed after seeing the high rating for this place

The building doesn't look all that old and the lobby was very impressive. But when I got to my room it smelled musty and the air conditioner didn't work very well. Since I was on the second floor and I wanted ice I had to go to the first floor because it doesn't have it on any other floor. Then when I took a shower I noticed the water wasn't going down well and after a closer look I could see the drain was full of hair. I had to keep my socks on because when I walked around the room barefoot I kept feeling things in the rug because it wasn't swept very well.

All the linens were stained, and old. Some even had holes in them. After a shower I would go through my towel options and use the best I could find. The sheets were thin with yellow spots on them. The pillows were old and thin. The toilet chain came off twice during my stay. Once I just reached into the toilet and fixed it myself. We had to hold down the handle to get it to flush. The "high speed internet" lost connection towards the end of my stay and I was told that I had to call the IT to fix it. They provided the "800" #. Room smelled of cigarette smoke b/c the 3rd floor are smoking rooms. One night the smoke alarm went off at 1:00am b/c someone was smoking in a room where they weren't supposed to. Stains on hallway carpet. Only one front desk person works at a time, making them also the maintenance, the housekeeping, and everything else person. There is one washer/dryer. I was told that I had to drive to the market or gas station to get change to use it. The light fixture in my bathroom had a mismatched shade. Not that this really matters but it brings down the look of the room. Then at check out they charged me more then the printout I had from Booking.com. They said I had to contact Booking.com b/c the numbers came from them. I will never stay there again. I have a feeling Hotel 6 next door would have been a better stay.

The suite room here was nicely designed, but the hotel appears a bit run down. The coffee pot in the room was broken, and they had no replacement. The decor looks fairly dated. The shower curtain was shorter than it should have been and barely reached the edge of the tub. Finally, even though we booked the room for three people, there were no sheets in the room to make up the sofa bed and only two bath towels in the bathroom. It simply didn't meet my expectations.
