Family Business Stay

Attractive value and ideal location for our needs. We will be back. Did not have time for a swim, but pool was attractive. Others were enjoying the pool. Would like to see some hard boiled eggs on breakfast menu and fresher oranges are needed.

We stayed for three nights. Each time I approached the front desk I could see the attendant on their phone. So I dialed "0" for help as the sign said thinking maybe someone else in back was supposed to help. Nope, the person I could see ended their personal cell phone call and helped me. Our room was never cleaned - 3 nights, I went to the front desk for new towels each time any one of the 4 of us took a shower. However, as we were collecting our things and making a few trips to the car with our packed bags, the cleaning crew parked right next to our door. The hairdryer fell off of the wall, the biscuits for breakfast were hard as a rock and the back door (right next to our room) slammed shut each time one of the 50+ construction workers left at 4am. Many of the construction workers laying in the halls on their phone late into the night. I wasn't charged the correct rate at first and my reservation wasn't yet put in the system when I arrived. Will just stay somewhere else on our next trip.

Filthy, non-functional room

Fbrammeron 01/08/2017 18:49

The front desk staff were friendly, but the room was abysmally filthy and unfunctional. The bathroom toilet was caked with up to 1/2"-thick dried excrement all around the rim; the refrigerator had no shelving inside it at all; the legs on the table (on which I had to work for three days) were so misshapen and wobbly that the slightest pressure on the table nearly caused it to collapse, along with my computer, printer and paperwork; the phone was the filthiest phone I have ever seen and it was unplugged when I arrived; the TV didn't work (it only got about 4 channels) and the front desk staff just shrugged and confirmed it didn't work [which I had told THEM]; and the room was musky and damp. I developed a terrible cough during/after the stay, which I believe is attributable to mold in the room. I couldn't change rooms or motels because I had meetings with many, many individuals over three days who already had this address as our meeting place. I contacted Wyndham, explained the situation and even attached my photos. I asked for a refund and about a week later they offered some points, which I declined. I certainly don't want points to stay at a Wyndham property again. I have travelled in small towns within a five-state area for over 35 years and stayed in many low-priced "ma & pa" hotels, and I've never experienced a room in this pathetic situation before.

Would not Stay Again

Arrived late but they held my reservation. The room was clean on areival but other than getting the bed made during my week long stay no other cleaning was done. They never cleaned the coffee pot in the room, nor did they replace the soap or shampoo. On one day, I came home and it appeared someone had laid on the bed after they made it. They could not cancel my reservation when I had to leave two days early and told me that they did not have a room for when I needed to come baxk to town. When searching for another hotel I noticed that I could have booked my stay on line. The one redeeming element of my visit was two other guests who were older women at the hotel amd long time friends. We ran into each other frequently in the lobby and enjoyed some wonderful conversation.
Zero available beverage machines. The night clerk did give me a large bottle of water from the back room though. The bed was very comfortable. They also NEVER picted up my used towels and wash clothes.

Didn't honor request

karenG102APon 11/07/2017 15:48

We had two preschoolers in our party, so when we made the reservation we requested 2 adjoining rooms to make it possible to put them down and still have parents available in next room. Two days before are reservations my husband called the motel to confirm we would have a connecting room. When we arrived they said they had no connecting rooms available.
The rooms were clean, but the sink faucet leaked and both the sink and tub drains were very slow. This was topped off by the mouse swimming in the spa pool.
