Clean rooms BUT...
Valerie Fon 11/06/2017 00:59The rooms were clean. However, despite an email confirmation of prices, there was s large local didn't that hiked room rates tremendously.
That was not our fault. Our "room rates" were raised to meet the new room rates. Even though we were "still discounted".
No excuses.
We had reserved room fir $X rate. The manager raises rates X3. Not my fault.
Upon checkout, "contact the manager".
Bloody Carpets
Brittany Bon 11/06/2017 00:06There were three visible blood stains on the carpet. Two were small droplet areas, and the third had been cleaned maybe with water. A 14" circled area was noticeably stained red. I slept on top of the sheets, never removed my shoes, and made the mistake of going looking at the pool. Bugs, hair, and a film on the water. I informed management of the blood and they were visibly annoyed that I brought it up. I was given an eye roll, a "yeah okay I'll tell housekeeping", and I was dismissed with a wave. Mind you, I am military and was in uniform, plus I was being discreet when informing them as to not let other patrons hear. I will not be staying at this motel again. Nor will I be staying at any Windham in the future.
Comfortable but poor service
kltrustyon 10/06/2017 18:00We stayed two nights and had no housekeeping service during our stay. We requested clean towels and were told we would have to come get them. The shower curtain was cloth and stick to you while trying to shower. Disgusting!! We will not stay at a Baymont again
A place to sleep
793katherineon 08/06/2017 18:25The check in staff was rude and demanding when we went to check in after a very long day. Our room smelled strongly of cigarettes and had burn holes in the blanket draped across the bed even though it was a non smoking room. The room was very humid which made the sheets feel sticky. Not luxurious but it had all the basic amenities for a night of sleep after a wedding.
Over night stay
PD Gon 03/06/2017 20:58This Baymont was located in a very good location. We were near red lobster, Chili, Applebee's, wal mart and other stores on the same street. Very easy to navigate for first timers. Our check in lady was very polite and gave us tips about the surrounding restaurants.
The room was very large and comfortable.
We will stay here again.
