What a shock to open our door to our king suite for the night to find large stains all over the carpet, the lounge suites would not even be eligible for the brotherhood bin they also had terrible stains, faded and even fabric torn, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel 5ml for 2 people to share, too bad if i didn't take my own, safe didn't work, cracks in the ceiling, shower leaked out the door, then to have a late check out at 12 was great but NO we had a cleaner knock on the door and just walk in our room in the early hours of the morning so no sleep in or even privacy there. Only positive was the sheets were clean and there was a nice view outside the window (not inside.)

Sent an email advising them of my complaint so i wouldn't have to name and shame them and just deal directly with them but no response in 8 days not even an excuse. so bad luck now!
Would never stay there again and never recommend there.

We had one night at this establishment. Location is well out of the CBD but about a $12 Uber ride into Melbourne or less into St Kilda depending on time of day.
Premises were clean if perhaps a little older but well maintained.
Staff were welcoming and helpful. The room on the third floor was two single beds. Comfortable beds, good size bathroom and closet. Didn’t use the TV or WiFi so can’t comment. Breakfast was a good spread of hot and cold options, extra for barista coffee.
My only real complaint was noise from the next room, the walls appear very thin. Noise from the hall carried as well although inconsiderate guests are not managements fault.
I would stay here again and recommend.

I stayed one night here and was very comfortable. On check in the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and a good size.
I ate at the restaurant and found the service and the food fine.
I have two complaints. The King sized bed is actually two beds put together so there is a hard lump in the middle which stops one from stretching out and you are actually confined to one side of the bed but the bed was very comfortable on the side I slept on. Fantastic black out curtains.
My second complaint is the parking which is incredibly tight. Unfortunately a bathroom repair van had parked behind me and it took at least 15 minutes of miniscule turns to get out which resulted in scratches to the front of my car due to having so little room to negotiate without hitting another vehicle.
All in all this was a great place to stay and I would stay here again. It is clean, friendly and convenient with good service.
I especially loved the 12pm checkout avoiding the early load and go

We decided last minute, to take a trip to Melbourne for hubby's birthday. I was surprised to find that we could get reasonably priced tickets through Qantas (it was AFL Grand Final weekend) and so I booked the flights. Accommodation was not so easy to come by. Most CBD hotels were completely over the top with prices for two nights over $600pn. We settled on the Bayview Eden.
Bayview is approx. 15 mins by tram from the CBD. It sits opposite Albert Park Golf Course on Queens Road. The tram stop is a two minute walk around the corner. Our check in was easy, our room on the 5th floor (509) was spacious and comfortable. There is no view to speak of. Tea and Coffee making facilities were available in the room and the Television was good. Only problem was walls were flimsy and our neighbours were noisy in the wee small hours.
Our stay was good and served its purpose, we weren't in the room much.
Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very average. I recommend you go into the city or down to St Kilda where there is a load of places to choose from at a better price.

I rang hotel direct nearly 3 weeks ago, then on arrival was told that we had been booked into there other hotel down the road, it was my husbands birthday, so we got shafted and our friends stayed where we were supposed to. We had no pool or spa, breakfast was cold and the service for breaky was discraceful, never again would I now stay at either, we have been going there for years but no more.
