We didn't find easy"as there is no any indication apart name on the door bell !
Any way , was chip €140.00

The boutique hotel was small but quirky. Super clean rooms which are cleaned daily.

Sara the receptionist was amazing, gave us all the local knowledge we needed about day trips, nice restaurants and best ways to get around including to and from the airport.

We had a fabulous stay in BDB. Would highly recommend.

Sara you were just fabulous. Thank you so much

Kind Regards

David and Lauren

Perfect for us!

We only had two days in Rome and ran, ran, ran to see all the sights, do a bit of shopping and eat some amazing Italian food, so we needed somewhere comfortable and well located to stay rather than a big hotel. BDB Luxury Rooms Spagna was perfect. It is superbly located, two minutes walk from the Spanish Steps and a few minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain. The room is spacious and beautifully appointed, with every convenience we needed and some we didn't! We would definitely stay again!

Great room for great price!

We stayed here for 5 nights, we booked the room with a separate bathroom, which is located across the hall from our bedroom door and is only for our use and we have the key for it. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were very clean. On arrival the lovely lady helped carry our heavy suitcases up the 1 flight of stairs. We had a little kitchen area in our room but we didn't use it. There was a little communal dining area where there was a coffee machine you could help yourself to and a little dinning table and chairs. We were given tickets for our breakfast each morning which you take to a cafe about 4 doors up and you can have any pastry and a coffee. The location was perfect just down the street turn right walk a little way and you are at the top of the Spanish steps. The only negative was there wasn't a safe in our room, when you are travelling with passports and cash I think this is a necessity.

Loved it!

Thankfully I had read the reviews & knew this place is tucked in on the street & easily overlooked.

It did make me a little nervous as it just looks like a door to apartments. Once we got in & went upstairs to the 2nd floor we found a very comfortable room and the location is PERFECT. The little cafe across the street made the BEST cafe lattes. We completely blew it by not going directly to the cafe for a latte to pick us up after our flight from the US. We were in Rome a few hours before tasting the espresso & those hours were confused & a little edgy as we managed to get lost on the streets and had not slept. ... once we stopped for a bite & espresso we were able to appreciate the glory that is Rome. (You just can't appreciate anything when over tired)

So...be prepared to wonder if you are at the wrong place. Call the number on the phone or sneak in behind a resident as we did. (There are apartments there) and head up to the 2nd floor.

We had requested 2 beds (2 lady friends traveling) but found only one bed. No big deal...we have known each other for decades, have been roomates & both grew up with sisters. Sleeping in the same bed is really not creepy.

My only complaint is that I only booked one night in Rome! (pre cruise). When I go back to Rome (and I will!) I very much want to stay here again! The location was perfect. It is not a fancy 4 star hotel... we barely saw anyone here at all. It is a room...it is clean & well appointed & comfortable, but not for the traveler who desires a lot of services & attention. Also it is on a narrow one way street. You need to walk a couple blocks to catch a cab (tons of them parked nearby close to Spanish Steps) and you will he dropped of at the end of the street. When we were picked up we had to bring bags to the end of the street. So it is not handicap friendly.

But for Cathy & me...it was pretty perfect & fit in our travel budget. Do yourself a favor & don't be dumb enough to book only one night & not go straight to the little cafe directly across the street for the best latte of your life!! Then take off on foot & enjoy!!
