An "okay" hotel in Mactan, Cebu

I really liked the place as they have 1 infinity pool and 1 kiddie pool. The room is clean and spacious and I really like the idea of putting bean bags beside the beach. However, there were some few issues like (1) there is ongoing construction which will be completed Nov 2017. (2) the cable is not working and the hotel staff that it was their provider's problem (3) there was limited selection on their breakfast buffet

Nice hotel but no swimming in the ocean

Infinity pool and the beach cottages were gorgeous. Perfect for Instagram.
But swimming in the ocean was strictly prohibited.
Food could've been better.
Room is clean and stylish.
Staff were super friendly and nice.

perfect family staycation

Your island family staycations are best here with perfect views of the sea and sand plus good selection of breakfast menu. Service is good but can be better. Choose the seaview rooms for perfect sunrise views.

No ocean swimming here

You really can't swim in the ocean here...there's a lot of sea weed/ plants (which I'm surprised they haven't cleared up) & the sand is in fact gravel but the swimming pool is great and the views are gorgeous so if you're ok with just watching the ocean, then this might be the place for you. The menu is not extensive but breakfast is and everything tastes fine. There are also sufficient vegetarian options. Speaking of breakfast, in double occ, you only get two breakfasts so if you have kids, you have to pay for them separately, 370 pesos/child. Now that's just about 7 bucks per kid but at Filipino stds, the price is ridiculous. I still can't believe it...it's twice the price of fancy hotels in Boracay! Another con, would be that there's little sound proofing here. The ongoing construction did NOT bother us but our neighbors certainly did so maybe the renovated rooms will address that. The hotel is far removed from everything location-wise but after all is said, I might still return!

Affordable beachfront resort in Mactan Island

The resort was under renovation when we had our overnight stay last June 2017.
That's why we can smell the woods in the hallway and inside the room.

*Location is near the Airport but the only problem i think is that no cheaper restaurants, convenience stores or grocery nearby. (30 mins. travel time going to Cebu City via private car)
