What People are saying

Amazing bar staff

brianjbemison 18/07/2017 02:22

Chase, the bar manager is a great problem solver and handled the issue of down pos systems like a champ. Rocky, is the best bartender in the area, especially under pressure. Sky is a very capable bar tender and was also very helpful when the pos systems was down. amazing staff and very friendly!

Just ok

Thankfully we only booked 2 nights here. I would hate to think I had to spend an entire week. The hotel is run down and dirty in some areas. Our shower head was barely attached to the wall, pieces of ceiling falling off in the bedroom, bathtub would not drain, shower gel honestly smelled VERY strongly of sewage/some type of gas. The towel holder had the hygenic liner from the crotch of a women's swimsuit stuck to it with a handtowel strategically placed over it. That's just disgusting! To make up for this the pool area was nice. Large pool for kids and adults to enjoy. There are not near enough chairs but everything else was good. Movies by the pool at night was nice for the kids. I saw a lot of complaints about non hotel guests using the pool. They may have been but doubt it was a many because to get in the pool area from either side you have to scan your room key now. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a good stay but likely will not be staying again.

Not what we expected!

Suwanee913on 12/07/2017 01:20

Such a disappointment in so many aspects. The pool was filthy with many nonhotel guests from the beach using the pool. The hotel is located next to the public access which resulted with hundreds on the beach. This is not a family friendly resort. It is more like spring breakers in Florida, lots of drunk and unruly people.
The staff is disinterested and apathetic. None of which were pleasant or helpful. Other than being with our family, it was a very disappointing and expensive weekend. On a positive note, the room was clean but way over priced.

Huge family trip!

We had a total of 15 people in this family trip of a lifetime that we had planned for over a year. We had a total of 7 rooms at the Beach House so we had a great look at all of the options available to guests. Three of the 7 were the king patio rooms. These had been renovated and were gorgeous in décor. Loved the nautical look and we really enjoyed the ability to hang out on the patio with all of the family and visit. The few challenges were around the late night music.... If you don't mind you will love. If you want quiet, do NOT get a patio room. Other family members had a regular room with either a king or 2 queen beds. Those rooms for the most part had NOT been renovated and were pretty plain-- somewhat older looking. My daughter and son-in- law paid for an ocean view which was a great view of the parking lot. Not what they were expecting. They were very frustrated. When the family saw our room they were super jealous and we quickly became the official hangout pad. None of the rooms had complaints of bugs or any of the issues I had seen in some of the older reviews. The Patio restaurant was a great place to enjoy breakfast and lunch while enjoying the beach and pool. We always went out for dinner or picked up pizza and ate on the patio. The Tiki Bar was quite wonderful for drinks (great variety but somewhat pricey) and lots of live music starting at 1PM everyday and stopping at around 11PM then it relocated to The Patio. Great local talented musicians. Overall we had a terrific trip, but please be mindful of your room choices.....

Brandon and Morgan at the pool

Brandon and Morgan at the pool area and bar were exceptional!!! They were very accommodating and really made our stay more enjoyable. Especially with adding bacon to our Bloody Marys. We will be back!
