We stayed for two nights in Cottage Two. We chose Beacon House because it was pet-friendly and had excellent reviews. We traveled with two dogs. The hostess was exceptionally nice and helpful. Even provided an umbrella when we checked in in the rain and left it with us to use. The cottages are older and small but it was just two of us and so we had enough room for both us and the dogs. It was cozy. Every room was clean, the towels provided were plush and good quality (what a pleasant surprise), and the linens were ALL freshly laundered and good quality. The beds were comfortable as was the couch/futon. My only wish would have been one more comfortable seat in the living room - the other chair provided was not very comfortable - and a larger TV for rainy days. All in all, I'm quite satisfied and I'd stay here again. Clean, friendly, cozy, close to the beach, and pet friendly. It met all my requirements for this trip without disappointment.

My boyfriend and I were on a road trip down the east coast and loved our one night stay at this B & B! Great hosts, delicious breakfast, coffee and cookies! The location was super close to the beach and within walking distance of great restaurants. The weather was a bit chilly when we arrived in mid- October, but it sounded like it just cooled down. We would definitely stay again.

This was just perfect for my wife and I, and Dash, the new Boykin Spaniel puppy. Beacon House and staff are very accomodating to dogs as well as Carolina Beach this time of year. Quite too! Local restaraunts were close by and very good. The owners, Heather and Mike were their for any questions recommendations and just wanted to make sure you enjoyed your stay.

My family and I stayed at the Beacon House in cottage 3 recently. We are a family of five and have our special schnauzer girl, Krystal. We travel with her frequently and have never experienced such a welcoming environment as that of the Beacon House. We were incredibly pleased with our cottage. It was spacious and came with all the comforts of home. The beds were super comfortable, the smart tv was great. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils and ware. I was very grateful for the coffee maker because no matter where I am, i cannot start my day without coffee. My family and I were especially please with the close proximity of the cottage to the beach. We were just a very short walk away from the beach and they even supplied a wagon for us to haul our beach necessities.
The cottage was also close to the Sea Witch tiki bar and not far from the boardwalk.
The owners are super friendly and very helpful. We were welcomed with a kind smile and Krystal was welcomed with yummy dog biscuits. There was never a moment we didn't feel comfortable or safe. We will definitely be staying again!

I had a great weekend stay recently at Beacon House. Mike and Heather were so nice and extremely helpful. The inn has a quaint, charming style, comfortable beds and the breakfast was "to die for." I've never felt so welcome and "at home" in B&B as I did at Beacon House. The beach access is very close (just diagonal across the street) and hoses were provided for rinsing off the sand once you returned to the house. We will definitely be returning for another visit soon!
