Two night stay in this hotel - full board. Very friendly and helpful staff, very good food, the room was clean and the hotel situated about ten minutes walk from the santuary. Toiletries - soap, shampoo and shower gel, Would highly recommend.

Having just spent 3 nights in this hotel I wanted to say how helpful, pleasant and courteous the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble.
The food was excellent and as part of a group if there was something one person didn't like they tried to get something else.

we came out with diosesse of birmingham for 6 days stay. , our second stay at this hotel. the reception staff were welcoming and warm. check in was quick and we took the lift up to our 6th floor room which was situated at the front of the hotel with a view over the gave.
the room had a double bed a wardrobe with ample hanging space and shelving. it housed the safe
which was easy to use.
we had a long dressing table and ample drawer space there were 2 bedside tables and a telphone.
the bathroom had a good size shower with a door rather than shower curtain. hot water supply was good .the bathroom whilst not large was adequate for our needs .
we were given clean towels every day even though we had hung up used ones to use again.
the room was clean and the decor was nice and quite modern.
whist we did over look the road we were not disturbed by outside noise at all and we did sleep with the window slight ajar as no air conditioning.
we were not troubled by any insects coming in at night.
breakfast was 7am till 9 pm mid day meal was 12.00 and evening meal 7pm
the dining room is on the first floor there were 2 lifts.
the dining room was light airy and had windows over looking the gave.
there was a weekly menu on display in the lifts and in the bar area .
each day me and my husband had requested a packed lunch which we usually collected from the dining room each morning around 10.15 this enabled us to have some feedom to go for walks and have picnics. evening meals consited of 4 courses and was served quickly and efficiently and cheerily by the wonderful staff.
the food was i my view fantastic.
my husband and i had vegetarian diet no meat no fish and the food was fantastic we enjoyed every meal served .
the hotel had a bar and nice seating area where you could purchase drinks and beverages such as tea coffee and hot chocolate.

we went out with tangney tours and the reps were wonderful visiting us every evening and their office is based at the beau site so are accessable during the day if needed.

we had one organised trip to givarney
during the other days we walked twice to bartres and once to the pic du jer its nice to take the funicular up the mountain and we walked down which took an hour and a half to walk down.there is also a cyle track which is nice to walk along as it goes into the country side and is a flat surface.
incidentaly bartres took us an hour and 15 mins of gentle walking to reach. on the way to bartres it is an up hill climb but the walk is beautiful so peaceful
,
we went out the last week of may we had 4 days of reasonably sunny weather and one day of wet weather
not far away form the hotel up by the main car park we noticed a cycle hire shop.
i have written a review of a previous stay at this hotel but i usually like to write reviews from each stay
this hotel is not close to the grotto so please bear this in mind. for us it was not a problem. the road outside the hotel is one way only and not at all noisey

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel as part of a Tangney Tours pilgrimage, We were warmly welcomed, the staff were always hard working and very pleasant and helpful. The food was good, breakfast consisted of the usual,bread, croissant, fruit, cheese, yoghurt, cereals, lunch was usually two courses, e.g., fish and veg plus a cake, dinner was 4 courses, usually a salad, soup, then a meal such as Chicken , pots, followed by desert. The bar area was light and airy but very quiet. The only issues for us were a very small room, and having to vacate our room by 9 am. We met lovely people, and would definitely return to this hotel.

A very welcoming hotel. Food fine and plentiful and arrangements made for special diets. Rooms small but clean with lovely views. Very hot and really could have done with air conditioning. Overall value for money. Public areas cool bar prices reasonable. Cheerful staff
