Great location

We enjoyed our one week family holiday here. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere, with good mix of guests, families, extended families, singles, couples etc. It's in a great location - short walk to lovely Gorey, and bus stop right outside the hotel so getting round the island was easy. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the garden is a lovely sun trap. Breakfast was nice but didn't try the evening meals. The reason I have rated it as average is because we were disappointed with the room. We booked and paid for it in full back in January so would have thought we would have bagged one of the best rooms! The size of the room and the beds were ok for the four of us. But it is very dated, tired decor, basin in the room (+ ensuite shower & toilet), poor soundproofing (could hear guest next door snoring all week and woke us up at 5am on the last day!). Service was good.

Staycation

Excellent location, on a good bus route, close to Gorey. Limited parking, suitable for smaller cars mostly. Excellent staff, especially in the dining room. Evening meal of a high standard and good selection on the menu. Breakfast equally as good. Drinks prices in line with local pubs.

Our double room (2 singles put together) was located on the top floor and overlooked the lovely central garden area. We found the room to be a little dated in terms of decor but in keeping with the style of the hotel. Comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, mirrors, dressing table etc. No lighting near the wardrobe so rather dark in that area of the room. Lovely, modern shower room. Clean white tiling, lovely looking shower but unfortunately lacked water pressure. Maybe because we were on the top floor, not sure. Wifi was excellent in the room. There was also a child’s bed tucked away under the eaves of the roof.

We liked the photos of Jersey scenes around the hotel and in our room. Great for locals and holidaymakers alike!

The pool is a good size with an excellent jacuzzi and sauna. Pool towels are supplied. Gardens had tables, chairs and sunbeds scattered around. The bar was rather dark but nice to take drinks out into the garden or sit in the lounge area with comfy sofas.

Short break with kids

Very welcoming hotel, freidndly and helpful staff throughout our stay.
Our room probably needed a little update in terms of decor but was a good size, very clean and all beds very comfortable.
The pool is a good size and again very well maintained. Also an excellent Jacuzzi and Sauna.
Breakfast was excellent every day with good selection of a food and friendly efficient service.
WiFi excellent in rooms.
I would definitely use this hotel again in future visits to Jersey.

Great last minute holiday

We booked very late notice as our family holiday to Spain was cancelled at short notice. We found the hotel staff very friendly and welcoming and the rooms were very modern and fresh with crisp white linen. Loved the bed and pillows which were extremely comfortable. Our room 346 is on the end of a long corridor and was very quiet at night. Breakfast was lovely.

We didn't make use of the pool or gym but they were well maintained and the gym had loads of equipment. We made use of the pool table in the games room in the evening. There is also a to room with dvds for children.

Wifi was excellent. The coverage was very good.

A long weekend

Bed and breakfast withe the occasional trip to the bar. This hotel is very clean and well organised but it's a little tired. Having said that our stay was more than acceptable. Breakfast was very nice with any combination of the traditional full English available every day.
