Very clean, great breakfast
idtion 04/10/2015 19:44Excellent hotel. The windows open to the street view of a small German town, and I liked that very much. The breakfast was very good and plenty.
FYI: There is a small, but great leather store there in town, not too far from the hotel.
Comfortable stay in the middle of Germany
ernesto057on 04/11/2014 16:38Having to change trains in Bebra was a long-time running gag in Germany that was in the peoples mind for many decades! Bebra is in the geographical middle of Germany and most long distance trains crossed their tracks here. Today, Bebra seems to be lost and asleep in the middle of nowhere, although activities resume and business are picking up. We had business to conclude here and stayed in this beautiful hotel. We were the only guests at the restaurant for dinner, a local German cuisine, dishes based on the seasonal offer: pumpkin and boar! We enjoyed both the meal and the accommodation, as well as the very friendly staff! Highly recommended when lost in this area!
Nice old fashion hotel
Nicolae Con 15/03/2013 18:30The hotel is nice and I would rate it very good if it had good internet connection.
Single rooms are not as big as I have seen in general but they will do.
There is a terrace at first floor in case you want to drink few beers outside.
Comfy

We had a pleasant stay at Hessischer Hof. Friendly and nice staff. The room was big enough for all four in the family. Comfortable bed, fresh and clean bathroom. We had dinner and it was delicious. We ordered breast of duck, calf cheek, gnocchi and tortellini with sea fruits. We were all very satisfied. Breakfast was also alright. This was good value for money. I recommend this accommodation.
Nice little hotel.
c0lbyon 19/01/2006 05:30We stayed at this hotel as a stopover on our way to the Czech Republic and we were pleasantly surprised with it. We found out about the Hessischer Hof on the internet and at first we were apprehensive about booking in as the featured picture seemed to depict a rather dingy establishment. However it was conveniently placed on our route so we went ahead with the booking. When we eventually arrived the polished marble and glinting glass surfaces soon put our minds at rest. The en-suite family bedroom we stayed in was large and split level which our daughters loved (especially the well stocked drinks cabinet). The hotel was scrupulously clean and the decor and fittings were modern and of a high standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful although English was not very well understood and we managed with our daughters limited German vocabulary. The restaurant attached to the hotel served well prepared, typically German fare. The hotel car park was on the other side of the road directly opposite the hotel. Bebra as a town would not rate highly on any tour itinerary but is a pleasant enough place for a short stay.
Having stopped in many hotels across Europe we have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to fellow travellers.
