Great location, peace and quiet, great personal service, would book again.
DavyDBEon 25/04/2017 12:01My girlfriend and i stayed at this bed and breakfast for 7 days. Its a great starting point to explore Venice due to its location. Its a 15min walk to Piazza San Marco but its not located in the extreme touristic part of Venice. That said there are 5 restaurants located within a 2 min walk, and the bus stops at Fondamente Nove are just 5-10min walk away.
The bed and breakfast itself has recently been renovated and all common luxuries are provided. A massive shower and sink in traditional Venetian style, but combined with decent WiFi connectivity for both our laptop and smartphones. This connectivity extends to the breakfast room which is great to plan the day.
The staff is very friendly and will help you personally if wanted in a variety of languages. To ensure your safe arrival from the airport the staff will try to reach you via mail/sms/viber etc. that combined with the route they provide, via email, upon reservation is a perfect combo to start a stress-free vacation. No request is too big for the staff and everything is done with a smile, they are amazing!
The breakfast provides a personalized coffee or thee combined with all the basics to get your day started.
The rooms are spacious with adequate closet room, a fridge, TV and WiFi and a large bathroom. Very clean and hygenic. The style is typical for a Venice hotel and is perfect to get into that Venetian mood.
Would book again!
Very cozy stay in Venezia!!
MajkenRahon 18/04/2017 20:22This B&B is nicely hidden in a non-touristic area, so in the morning, when you open the windows you get a glimpse of how it would be to live in Venice! There's no sign at the door but you can ring any bell - the owner is anyway awaiting you. The couple, who runs the place, is very friendly, helpful and lovely! After having told that we are coming to Venice for our honeymoon they reserved us the nicest room! The room was clean, romantic and comfortable. There's a TV, the channels are mostly in italian - but there a two english channels (series and movies). The shower's nice and the bathroom is equipped with fresh towels (everyday provided), hair dryer, and soap. The breakfast in the morning was tasty and nice. They served fresh boiled eggs, fresh buns and croissants, yogurt, muesli , fruits and juice - very nice in comparison to other italian hotels with breakfast. The best is the very tasty coffee / espresso /cappuccino (anything you wish is prepared for you!) in the morning. They also have different kind of tea's.
We recommend this place to everyone who wants to have a nice, quiet, cozy and romantic stay! We will come back for sure! Thanks again!
Great week in Venice
neagleon 17/10/2016 23:11Great room overlooking a small canal outside the tourist area. Pleasant and helpful staff. Spacious and very clean. In a residential area with butcher, bakery, and a fruit stand near by. Short 15 minute walk to St. Marks and 5 minute was to water taxi. Definietly recommend this B and B. Try Da Joñny restaurant, we ate there 3 times and never disappointed.
Wonderful gem in Venice!
mcp19752014on 28/09/2016 09:28We managed to get a reservation on the day as a previous hotel was terrible. After a long day of travelling we finally arrived at this beautiful gem of a B & B. Rooms are very spacious and elegantly decorated. Bathrooms are spotless and stunning. The breakfast buffet is limited but everything is very fresh and tasty! We had an amazing stay for the three nights we spent here. The location is also a bit off the usual busy tourist areas which makes it extra special as you can get up early to get to the sight seeing spots before the masses arrive.
Perfect!
