Good location but too expensive
Violaine Con 15/06/2017 21:12The B&B has as very good location (in the center of Cefalù) however the room was noisy (balcony looking onto a crowded pedestrian street) and not confortable enough for its price. The shower was old with a very low water pressure.
The breakfast did not take place in the B&B but in a cafe (3-min walk from the B&B): only one croissant and one coffee were included in our booking.
Super clean central old city base
myescapeson 06/06/2017 10:29Seems to be a family-run affair and is a great, central, old city base in Cefalu. Absolutely spotless, enormous room (the very pink one that looks onto the street) with a very large and comfortable double bed plus an extra single. It's simple but really efficiently run and I can guarantee you'll feel really happy here. There is a fridge in the room and they lent us plates and knives and forks to have a salad on the large sea view terrace. The terrace is right next to the sea and, although there is a restaurant directly under it, this is a peaceful spot and with great sunsets. We paid €55 a night for a room that was twice the size of much more expensive hotels. Other guests were all quiet respectful people who seemed to love the place. Tons of restaurants right here and lots of atmosphere. The beach is about five minute's walk.
Great little apartment over the sea..

The property is a short walk from the train station through the old town. We had a lovely apartment with separate bathroom, a fridge and cooking facilities. The bedroom was large and comfortable together with a separate dining room and balcony overlooking the sea.
Bad:
Although a nice apartment, it smelt musty. Breakfast was a joke, one coffee with a choice of chocolate, cream or plain croissant, anything else was extra.

Lorna ron 26/03/2017 00:59This b&b receives rave reviews - I was wondering if I'd agree with these reviews. We stayed in March and there were few other guests. It's comfortable and clean and I'd recommend it. Antonio was very helpful.
Quick, but good visit
socon018on 25/09/2016 20:36We only spent one night at the Dolce Vita B&B. Good value with an incredible rooftop patio with a view of the sea. Short walk from the beach on a neat street. Stairs are steep and narrow but the staff is happy to help you carry anything up/down. Room are nothing special, but have everything you need. Free breakfast is a coupon for a coffee and croissant at nearby cafe. Overall, it was a nice quaint B&B with good service.
