Jungleboy9on 22/07/2016 23:033 of us as 5* hotel staff from Thailand and 1 friend from Holland.we stayed here 2 nights after our round trip in Europe and we enjoyed our stay here and very quiet and only 8km from Ghent. The owner were very friendly and helpful to us, giving out info in the area n how to get to Ghent. room, sheets, floors, bathroom, bed room and tower etc are so clean. The aménité in the room very similar to 5* hotels. I recoomend this B&B is good location and distance if you are visiting Ghent. Then we did enjoy the breakfast.

Samson Ton 31/05/2016 03:41Merelbeke is close to Gent and Bruges and not too far from Brussels. For a road trip the city hotels either do not provide parking or at best paid parking. Thomas is a great host and listens well.The home as you see is beautiful and well maintained. Not only that, the rooms are named and each has a theme. The rooms are spacey and have every thing a traveler needs. Decent and clean bathroom and a great library in the toilet. No books in English though. The breakfast was beautifully served and quality triumphed quantity.
Very friendly place to stay in a beautiful setting, highly recommend it!
Tim Mon 20/09/2015 18:16Spent only one night, but had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Owner was very accommodating and breakfast was great! Home is located a few kilometers outside Ghent in the beautiful countryside and is very cozy.
Peaceful country retreat
Mel713on 19/05/2015 20:22Travelling by car this well appointed B & B provides a pastoral setting away from the bustle of a city. Our room and the whole premises were spotlessly clean and professionally run. Thomas, the owner, is very congenial and provides excellent information on Ghent which is a 12 minute drive from the B & B. The breakfast is simply delicious and the owners offer very generous choices for your dining pleasure. We had the Australian room which has a huge bathroom. The internet worked like greased lightning. We wholeheartedly recommend this jewel in the Belgian countryside. It provides absolute peace and quiet. Thank you Thomas.
Overall nice hotel but not for business reasons, only for holidays
Maria Fon 16/12/2014 10:16The people that run the hotel are very eager to help. Nice breakfast. Cosy atmosphere. Nice countryside. I guess it is very nice for discovering countryside of Belgium. Not really easy for business reasons
