Cristian Mon 06/05/2016 18:20We stayed here about two weeks ago , the conditions are excellent, impeccable cleanliness , breakfast delicious , home is nice . It's very close to downtown , about 10 minutes walk . Parking is free in front of the villa or in the backyard. If we get in Bergamo I will stay here , in a word, excellent .
Great value, but you need a car
Fabervirtanenon 30/09/2011 16:41Agriturismo Le Rondini is located in a quite nondescript part of Bergamo, neither lower town nor upper town and is surrounded by low houses and buildings but keeps a rather "rural" feeling. The studios are spotless and richly endowed with everything you may need, if you decide to make your own food, with a nice patio for your alfresco dinners & breakfasts. The only problems are the closeness of the railway track (but trains don't run after around 11 p.m. so I managed to get good nights of sleep) and the lack of wireless connection. Breakfast included yogurts, croissant, fresh rolls, jams, freshly squeezed orange, chocolate pudding and a fantastic home baked pie. There is a bus stop 5 minutes away, but I think that a car would help a lot if you decide to stay here.

Aud01on 01/10/2009 21:03We have just returned from a week's holiday with Luisa and can highly recommend her lovely apartments. Everything was spotless, clean towels every day and beds changed three times that week. Breakfast is plentiful and she was extremely helpful. We will definately go back here again, but I will hopefully speak a little bit of Italian by that time! That being said, Luisa was always happy to bring out her laptop with translation programme, so we managed to understand each other as required. Buses run frequently about 5 minutes walk away and it takes 5-10 minutes by bus to the railway station at the foot of City Bassa, so it really is quite handy, especially if you buy the 5euro 3 day pass which gives unlimited travel on bus and funicular. One thing I would advise though, is to take mosquito repellant etc to Bergamo. They were pretty bad. We had 27 degree heat albeit so late in the season, so that might have been the reason?

Most enjoyable stay
Billyoneon 10/09/2008 15:37I recently returned from a short stay at Le Rondini in Bergamo.I cannot recommend this Agriturismo too highly. Just a short walk from th centre of town and all its ammenities. Lusia and Michele are wonderful hosts, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is a feast of the best in Italian food. I can't wait to go back.
