Room with a view
worldview2014on 18/05/2017 23:20Charming b&b in Orvieto, we loved everything about it! Wonderful hosts, great location.
Room was comfortable, included a small kitchen and had the most amazing views. Enjoyed the basket with breakfast every morning and appreciated restaurant suggestions and things to see and do while there.
Could not have chosen a better place to stay!
Charming B&B
MÃ¥rten Fon 17/05/2017 15:01We had a great stay at Ripa Medici. The apartment was very nice, the service friendly and welcoming and the view over the valley and over the city wall was great. Orvieto is medieval pearl and the appartment is nicely located within the city wall.
Lovely apartment, adorable hosts
ayahel1on 13/05/2017 16:57Interior of apartment is well designed Owner is very nice The apartment is large and located in excellent place: close to the old city entrance (and parking lot) and easy to reach old city's center and streets. If we ever come to Orvieto again, this is the place we want to stay
Beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Just perfect.
Jenelle Eon 20/04/2017 23:04Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Orvieto. This B&B had it all: a gorgeous view from the front door, a bit of outdoor space, incredibly welcoming hosts, and an easy location -- a 5-minute walk from a busy piazza. We loved walking all over Orvieto to eat, drink, and be wowed by the Duomo -- but it's also nice to have a comfortable and clean place to return to with tired feet. We appreciated the coffee machine and tea kettle for morning caffeine before heading over to the cafe for breakfast (included) amongst locals. Random things we appreciated: There was a hair dryer, air conditioning, enough towels, restaurant recommendations, and it was non-smoking. Hope to return.
Amazing!!
Jennifer Fon 20/04/2017 16:54We chose to book La Casa Bianca for 2 nights for our first time to Orvieto. I don't think we could have made a better choice in Orvieto! Sabrina, the owner, was a great host and was very prompt in her replies. She was also very warm and friendly and helped us with restaurant suggestions and things to see.
The room was amazing, it was like having our own apartment (and we realized we would love to own something just like it someday). It had a huge bedroom, a cute kitchen with a table and chairs, and a nice bathroom. While breakfast isn't cooked for you, Sabrina left us a lot of choices of food to make for ourselves. We made ourselves right at home and it was perfect! There were eggs, various breads, cereal, jams, milk, etc. This was also where hubby was introduced to a moka pot and now has his very own that he uses every morning!
The bed was very comfy and the room was beautiful. One of the best parts was that it's right on the city wall and you can open your front door and see Tuscany right there. Early morning brought fog in November which made for some stunning pictures! You're on the corner, away from most of the tourist traffic, so it's not loud at all. The bathroom was nice and we had plenty of hot water for showers.
I definitely want to return to Orvieto and will book here again (as long as Sabrina hasn't left for the concrete jungle of Houston)! We fell in love with La Casa Bianca and Orvieto.
