What People are saying

Newmarket Nights

Definitely a quality hotel, room was super both bath and shower everything was quality. Just what I wanted as it was a gift for my partner. Great o/night stay for the races. Lovely pool, steam room etc so very relaxing too. Breakfast was slow, but having spoken to the restaurant manager he agreed the service wasn't to their usual high standard. He was as disappointed as we were and discounted our breakfast which to me showed how much they value good service. Would I return... definitely

Beautiful food

We visited for afternoon tea before going on to the races we were held up due to road closure so rang to inform them we eventually arrived 45 mins late. We were made welcome and our late arrival was not a problem to the staff. The best afternoon tea ever friendly efficient staff beautiful building too. Would highly recommend

Lovely spa day

A group for a hen do had a lovely day at the spa. We all arrived in the morning and settled in very well. The treatments were lovely we either had a full body massage or facial. All the ladies doing the treatments were professional and polite. The sauna/steam room and hydro pool was lovely. I had a nice time relaxing on the sun beds up stairs and reading a book. We felt totally cut off from the busy and stressful world just out side. The only thing I would criticize is that the lounge area where you have beverage etc was also the dining area. There isn't an actual dining table, just comfy chairs/sofa's and coffee tables which was hard to eat soup from! There is an out side patio with tables and chairs which would have been better but unfortunately we had rotten weather so couldn't use this facility. All being said I would defiantly go back.

Lovely hotel

Spent 2 nights at the Bedford Lodge hotel back in March.
Lovely, friendly greeting from the reception staff and checked into a spacious, clean room over looking the gardens.
The pool and spa area is very nice, again with friendly staff. It does require a little attention in a few areas but clearly cosmetic.
The breakfast was superb, the smoked haddock was delicious.
The bar staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming but a nice area to relax with a drink.
The only downside of the whole stay was the restaurant in the evening. We found (as did several other couples who we spoke with) that they try far too hard. We must have been greeted by four or five different staff, introducing this that and the other. I realise that this a quality hotel, but most people want to eat good food in a relaxed environment.
Great hotel, definitely recommend it, restaurant a little pretentious for us.

I had the pleasure of going to the spa at Bedford lodge and really enjoyed it! I got a Swedish massage by Elisha and it was amazing! I would definitely recommend this experience to others. Looking forward to booking again.
