Beechwood Hotel, exceptional for business or social functions, hotel stay and great new restaurant Sonoma
Christina Aon 03/11/2017 15:46Beechwood is our go-to-meeting place when I need to congregate HQ staff and remote field staff. We have started to use the meeting rooms at the Beechwood for our monthly meetings since Worcester is a central point from all of New England. The Sales office is very accommodating doing what they can to find the right room for us (even last minute), and has it all set up for our arrival (some driving many hundreds of miles).
This last summer we needed a block of rooms for our field staff who were participating at an annual summer orientation that lasted 18-days. The Beechwood blocked rooms for us to ensure our staff had a place to stay during their allocated time. The reviews from the staff who stayed there were very high and everyone was very pleased with all that it had to offer, a great atmosphere for off hours to hang out, good food, and the wonderful patio to relax and enjoy music in the warm weather.
Recently, the Beechwood added another jewel to their crown and it was the partnership with an award winning Chef Owner Bill Brady of Sonoma. Sonoma moved from it's previous location and now is part of the Beechwood culinary experience. Though Ceres Bistro was a good restaurant, adding Sonoma puts the Beechwood with it's restaurant on the top tier hotels in New England. I refer the Beechwood to all friends and family when they visit from out of town and the experience has been satisfactory each and every time.

michelle012526on 22/10/2017 21:55This was our second stay at the Beechwood and once again we were not disappointed. From Jesse and Bryanna when we checked in to the beautiful room to the meal at Sonoma and upon check out the front desk was friendly. Our waitress (Maryann?) was outstanding and had a great sense of humor and went out of her way to make our dinner amazing. Even when we had friends arrive to help celebrate our engagement she added chairs to our table without even a word. When we asked if we could sit outside she happily continued our bill and service without question. When we asked to have the outside heaters turned on it was done instantly.
However the real reason we keep coming back to the Beechwood is the outstanding bartender Yolanda. We met her our first stay and we have stopped back to have drinks a few times since then. She is wonderful, smart, funny,engaging everything that makes people want to return to a place. The friends that joined us this night found her amazing also and this was their first visit to the Beechwood. I hope the management realizes how lucky they are to have such a gifted person to represent them. We hope to continue visiting the Beechwood/Sonoma regularly as long as Yolanda continues to be there.

My expectations were low and the hotel and its fab staff rocked my world. Thanks for the excellent continental breakfast, great room and excellent central worcester location.
