Multi-lingual service is a joke!

I booked this place so I could get some sleep after a long international flight, before leaving Beijing the following day. I saw ahead of time that they will give the room away if you arrive after 6 p.m., and my flight was arriving at 1 a.m., so I filled in the form and sent an email, both saying that I will be checking in around 2 a.m. and using both the booking website, and the hotel email to do so. When my wife and I (who are able to speak decent Chinese) arrived, they could not communicate at all in English, or even read our booking which was in English. I asked them in Chinese if they saw our request and they were not even aware what we were talking about because they couldn't read our booking. They SHOULD NOT be listed on foreign sites because they CANNOT serve foreign people properly. Unless you speak Chinese well or have a translator call them ahead of time, don't even bother filling out information in English. You'll just end up taking 2 taxis and sitting in a dirty airport for 7 hours after an already exhausting trip like my wife and I did.

I will come back!!

I stayed overnight here on 7/12. The room is very clean. Hallway is bit worn however not dirty either. There are some inexpensive restaurants across the street along with a grocery store. The breakfast costs $2 in a buffet style with decent selection of Chinese food. The employees there are very friendly especially the lady who served breakfast. Her smile and kindness lightened my whole day. There is also shuttle bus to each terminal, very convenient. I will be back soon!! Thanks!

If you check in after 18:00 the hotel cancels your reservation without notifying you, with rooms available. Very disappointed with the service, the hotel staff spoke a bad English and not help you. NOT recommended this hotel

Attention: if u check in after 18:00 they give the room away! i didn't see or remember that from the email and arrived a bit later so i had no room. they didn't speak a word of english and were as unhelpful as possible.

I took a chance on staying at this hotel because of the high ratings on trip advisor. My first warning that this hotel might not be all that it is supposed to be was arriving at the airport and not having the airport shuttle that was supposed to pick us up waiting for us. After contacting Ctrip, who made the reservations for us they finally got the shuttle to the airport. The 9 passenger van ended up being packed with 11 people and 10pcs of luggage where 2 would fit. The hotel is located smack dab in the middle of an industrial area, we passed about 10 parked semi trucks in an alley leading to the hotel. Front desk was helpful, but not very fluent in English. The Hotel looks like a 1960 howard johnson motel, inside and out. Our room had a smeared finger print of what looked like feces on the wall. The beds were rock hard, and appeard to be left from the 1960's as well. The free internet did not work on our 2009 laptop. The one thing that was updated was the tile on the bathroom walls, however, the shower head sprays down on the bathroom floor, with no curtain or way to contain the spray. If we had used it, the entire bathroom would have been soaked, including the toilet and toilet paper. Aftere explaining to the front desk that we wanted our money back for about 10 minutes, we asked for the manager. The manager told me for 100rmb per room, she would give us the rest of our money back. She was the only good thing about that hotel, she called the Crowne plaza and even rode with us in their van to help us book a room there. All is well that ends well, I guess, we slept well at the Crown Plaza, I would suggest that you do the same.
