Not bad but there are better around
samantha don 20/06/2017 03:51Hotel old and dated. Staff do not speak English but Chinese and Russian. Our room large and comfortable but no coffee in room. Breakfast buffet food cold. Plenty of choice just that they don't know how to keep it hot. Hotel hot water was luke warm and other guests had plumbing issues with toilets not working. Our shower was dirty and not clean. I was part of a tour group. Next door is a 24hr shop to buy bits and pieces but no hot coffee. Limited Wi-Fi if you could get it. other shops around to visit.
Overall good hotel
Argy Gon 28/04/2017 05:26Located in a very convenient location downtown. Walking or short cap drive distance of many of the cities highlights.
Clean and comfy rooms.
My room located on 12th floor was quiet.
Breakfast mainly Asian and few options of American /European plates.
Only staff at reception talk some English but they always tried to help me.
No fancy restaurant, mainly room service.
Worst thing is the Internet. Slow Slow Slow. That was a disappointment for me as i was staying for business and needed on daily basis.
Easily a 4 star hotel.
Defiantly not a 5 star one.
Nice hotels
Nodirbek Ion 27/04/2017 07:48Good hotel located in the heart of the wholes and retail shopping region. From the hotel location it is easy to reach to other sightseeing places of Beijing. Some nice restaurants around. If you are lucky you can catch an English speaking receptionist at the check in
Large rooms, central to food. Well equipped gym
Megan Ron 26/04/2017 02:52A clean hotel in the center of a busy district. Staff were not helpful and English is not a priority. Our room was large and overlooked the busy front road-not too noisy with the window shut. The air conditioner was set to 25 degrees and it was warm. (I found every hotel I stayed at in China had this problem). Bathroom large and clean. Issue with water drainage but I didn't have to clean it up. Rooms were always made up timely and housekeeping staff really did try to help you-no English just charades and pointing. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast...large selection of both western and asian. All really nice especially the wonton soup and pancakes-not available until after 0700. Despite breakfast opening at 0630. The fact they kept running out of cups, glasses, cutlery every morning for the 5 days we spend here with no lesson learned was unbelievable. The only proactive staff member was the head chef, most of the others were lazy and obviously couldn't be bothered cleaning up the tables. The gym was large, well equipped and even had classes. Pool closed for winter? Great local food hall downstairs, cheap and great local street food-very busy. Free wifi was pretty fast.
Stay away
P Bon 10/03/2017 11:16This hotel was booked by tour operator. Staff only speak Russian and Chinese so very difficult to get anywhere with English. Had room on 10th floor front which was extremely bad for traffic noise. Had to leave window open due to heat so noise very unpleasant through the night. Reception staff couldn't be bothered with any assistance. Terrible seedy dirty area. Place needed really good scrub down, mostly in bathroom and shower. Lots of mould. Most certainly not anywhere near 4 star. Restaurant food was ok, and breakfast ok, but nothing special.
