Anna Kon 11/06/2017 22:28My husband and I stayed here for two nights as we got to know the Ft Smith area for a little getaway. We had a great experience! We booked the presidential suite with the history package. It was a great way to get to know the city. Mike and Susie were gracious hosts, willing and eager to talk to us about Ft Smith history to dining suggestions. The room was comforting and relaxing. The tub was wonderful, and the shower pressure was fantastic! Breakfast was filling and tasty each day. I really want some more of Susie's egg creations! The location is easy to find and the neighborhood behind the inn has some beautiful homes to drive past! We enjoyed the company of their cats, which I know they do keep away from guests. However, as my husband and I are cat people, we didn't mind if they did their cat thing! Please support small local businesses in the cities you visit. This one didn't disappoint! We feel like we have friends in Ft Smith- that's how this place impacted our stay. Thanks so much!

John Pon 26/05/2017 20:08They took such good care of us when we were checking in late-had some cookies and cokes for us in the fridge and they double checked the room and it worked just great-Mike is a great local historian and Susie really prepares a great breakfast-The different motifs were really fun and the house was in great shape

jhager417on 23/05/2017 00:21This is a wonderful place to stay, especially for couples. I was lucky enough to get to stay here last New Years Eve, and we ended up just staying in instead of being out and about. I stayed in their Presidential Suite, and was quite impressed with our room and the service. It's spacious, but welcoming. There was an old armoire to put our clothes in, a very accommodating jet tub for two, a shower, and even a fireplace with a rocking chair. They were even kind enough to bring us our breakfast and set it out on our table. Needless to say, I was a happy man to be able to wake up and walk 10ft to a fresh breakfast!
This is a much older house, with the typical creaks and groans when you walk, but that adds to the charm, if you ask me. Nice place, super nice owners, and well worth the price!
Ladies Weekend Getaway
ShelbysG1on 10/05/2017 17:34We stayed at Beland Manor Inn for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. Great accommodations and wonderful breakfast each morning. Beland Manor is located central to all of the places we wanted to go and close to shopping. We were treated very special. We love to play dominos and our innkeepers made sure we had a private area for game time. I would stay there again. Thanks for your hospitality.

2MetreManon 09/04/2017 02:59We stayed here overnight en route to the west coast from TN (04/06/2017). Y'know how you feel when you are back home? Well, that was my feeling when we arrived at Beland Manor. Easy going, personable, helpful and happy are the words that come to mind when describing Mike & Susie. Ace!!
We enjoyed a magical meal out (check my report on "21 West End"' restaurant in Ft. Smith), and then repaired to the en suite spa bath for a very welcome bubbly soak!! There was also an en suite bathroom in the Colonial Room we stayed in.
There is a vast living room, where guests are welcome to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. It is very much a family-based home; you are part of the place as soon as you arrive.
The morning candlelight breakfast was tasty and filling, and perfect for us, pre-travelling to New Mexico that following day.
If you want a change from the standard, interstate, cookie-cutter hotels, do try Beland Manor. Spoil yourself a wee bit - you'll be glad that you did!! :)
