Friendly staff and delicious breakfast

I'm a small person and I had three enormous bags. The staff were always helping me get them in and out of my rooms. I kept trying to tip them for their help but they kept refusing. On my final morning, the man who helped me actually ran away and, like an idiot, I tried to chase him to give him a tip! But he got away...

The breakfast is really outstanding-- it's more of a breakfast and lunch and dinner buffet. They have things for a light breakfast (fruit, yogurt, pastry) but also for a heavy breakfast (omelet, sausages, blini, kasha). Plus they have lunch foods (salads, meat dishes, rice, potatoes, cooked vegetables, squash). Bottles of water and juice. And a cappuccino machine! I can't imagine you could ever want anything more.

Plus, the room was spotless and looked out on the beautiful square. I love this hotel.

Center hotel

the hotel is clienan and renovated, Breakfast are great and double roomas are spacious and confortable. The only negative point is that there is a big difference in quality between individual 1 small bed rooms and the standard double rooms. But if we forget about this, the quality/price is great.

Good hotel in center of town

I stayed there 12 days in April 2015.
The hotel was refurbished some 10 years ago.
Very clean, well maintained. Institutional style.
Staff willing to help and nice.
Big rooms and baths. Service OK even if ironing is not their main asset.
Breakfast nice but lacking on the sweet side. Just putting a toast machine and more than one (!) Type of jam would help foreigners that are not used to Russian breakfast to save the day. But they do have an espresso machine.
Restaurant. I tried it for dinner but really it is not worth. Expensive and poor quality.
In my case the cook was missing and the security went for him. Forget it.

Overall I am happy and I don't think you can find same cost return ratio in town.

I will come back again.

Nice place to stay

I spend two days at the hotel, business. Rooms very very nice, clean, very well equipped, good and fast free Wi-fi connection. Ladies at the reception are nice and willing to help in any case.
We also tried the hotel restaurant, which offers very good food, but it lacks a lot from well-known Russian cuisine. Furthermore, the service was quite slow, but nice and helpful, it did not pose us any problem.

I would definitely stay there next time.

Good quality hotel

Stayed on business.Good sized rooms, clean and comfortable. Centrally located. Interesting museums nearby.
Good steak in attached restaurant sat outside overlooking huge square
Wi fi free
Pleasant reception
