Bit tatty, trying hard but disappointing
Hbddhjijgfvon 27/07/2017 10:25The first thing to say is that the staff are lovely. New baby so trying hard in difficult circumstances, babies and hotels are both big jobs!
Room was a bit grubby, contact lenses cases from previous guests on the floor made me wonder about cleaning. Shower curtain pretty mouldy and smelly.
Room tired and tatty. TV remote didn't work.
Breakfast was disappointing, for the money it was fine but not good quality and a bit sloppy. I'd pay more if we could get a nicer offering.
Staff are attentive to guests but somehow attention to detail seems missing in the general environment.
It's in a great location but hamstrung by the general parking situation in the town as they have no designated places. This is tricky with kids and cases!
Would come back because of location and in the hope that it has improved as I genuinely think there is aspiration to make improvements once able to do so.
Also there is a dog that lives there. He's a friendly little chap so was no problems for us but if you or your kids are wary of them be warned he can sometimes be on the loose!
Perfect location and great hosts
jambonon 22/07/2017 14:53This hotel is in the perfect location for a trip to Llandudno. 2 minute walk to the beach. Over the road there are a couple of bars with limited outdoor seating (Queen Victoria, Snooze) which do food as well as a seafood restaurant 1 minute away. Round the corner you have a newsagents and a bunch of other restaurants. It is very close to the stops for the sightseeing bus and Great Orme trip. As for the hotel itself it is well run by Neil and has WI-FI access. The room was well kept and the bathroom with walk in shower was quite big. We stayed in the executive double with a king size bed and Sky TV, loads of tea/coffee etc and plenty of bathroom extras Not much of a view though! Breakfast is optional at about £6. Next door there is a fabulous co-run Italian restaurant the Taverna. Recommended but you may have to book as it is that good. There is a "help yourself but pay later" bar. 100% non smoking facility with a £149 fine though there are benches outside. Overall I would totally recommend this place to everyone because of it's location and the staff. Just don't book when I want to go back!

Swissmissplusfiveon 17/05/2017 21:53Short walk to sea front, Italian restaurant underneath hotel, great food, value for money. Took my elderly parents away for a week end to Llandudno, they loved Bella Vista hotel. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely be back.
