What People are saying

Good value for money.

IntotheWild85on 21/05/2017 11:08

The B&B is nice, clean and located very close to Re di Roma metro station (4 stations only from Termini). The area is quiet and nicely local. Room spacious and comfortable. The shared bathroom is very well-maintained and clean. Fast wifi, breakfast option very limited but can find many option around the place. Be mindful that they have specific time for check-in. The owner was nice and helpful. Very good value for money.

Terrible treatment

Alexia_Rockson 05/05/2016 11:04

Be careful of this place! Not only did we get ripped off with the price of almost an extra night for late check-in, but we also got an imitation of a breakfast. Nothing was fresh, everything was in plastic packaging. When I complained that it was neither fresh nor enough, I received a very aggressive response and I was shouted. The owner said that packaged non-fresh breakfast is what Italians eat. When I argued that it was not, she exploded and started threatening me that I should leave her property. What a way to start my holiday in Rome!

Very good B&B in the quiet area of Rome

The Bells of Rome is located close to Re di Roma metro station, 4 stations from Termini and 7 stations from the Spanish steps. The area is rather quiet and nicely local. I personally like staying in that area, though it´s generally not a walking distance from major sites.
B&B is very nice and clean. Spacey and bright room with comfy bed. Was a bit chilly for me in November though. Shared bathroom is well-maintained. The cleaning girl comes every day. Breakfast is very simple - DYI coffee, some packaged cakes, juice in the fridge. You can find better breakfast options around the place. Fast wifi,
Owner Luisa is helpful and nice.

Luxury on a budget.

I loved it here! Louisa was very welcoming and accommodating and while this was a budget hotel there was nothing budget about the facilities. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and of a high standard. The room I stayed in was spacious and cool with high ceilings. There was a fan, desk, wardrobe and TV in the room. All the furnishing were of a high standard and all the linen crisp and clean. Breakfast was included and set out in the room each day with the rest in the fridge. Free internet was included. Louisa has a number of recommendations to eat in the area which took the guess work out of what was good. The hotel was well positioned, just enough out of the centre of the city to get a break from the crowds but so close to a Metro station to get you right back in the action. It was so easy to get to and from. Louisa was only an email away if I had any questions. I would highly recommend this hotel to whoever wants a little higher standard on a budget and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
