Need to improve service

Julianacosta_04on 24/06/2017 20:20

The structure is awesome! The gardens, the room; although there was no hot water at the sink. The localization is great!
The service has to improve.
When we arrive all the explanations about the hotel was too long, we were tired.
Next morning there was no wifi, at the breakfast we asked tree times for the pancake, the excuse was the restaurant was full, but we do believe they have forgotten.afterall he brought 2 pancakes to compensate.
We find out at the second day that they do leave chocolates and prepare your bed for the nighttime, at the first day I don't know what happened but we hadn't nothing of that.
The worst part was we had made a reservation at the hotel's restaurant, it was our wedding anniversary. The concierge help us with the time, once we will be Arriving by train from Machu pichu.
We got 15 minutes late, 9:45pm, therefore the restaurant closes at 10:30pm, we could not have dinner. They closed earlier because there was not enough people!!!!!
The staff tried to recommend others restaurants outside the hotel and said tô us ask for a room service. After long discussions they have served us the menu of the restaurant at the bar .
A expensive five star hotel should be more careful with their guests.

Great location, beautiful building

We went Belmond all the way on our recent tour of Peru and this hotel maintained the same standard of excellent service. The building itself is beautiful, with lovely courtyards to enjoy. The only slight disappointment was that our deluxe king room was rather smaller than I would have expected. Nonetheless I would certainly recommend staying here for the position, the public rooms and the service.

Amazing

Amazing hotel in an old monastery, premises still own by the Vatican and leasing to Belmond Hotels. Great chapel in property and two beautifully maintained courtyards. Rooms are very spacious and well appointed. Friendly and very helpful staff, GREAT location - near main square - and yet quiet. Great atmosphere and amazing restaurant.

Beautiful Hotel, Impeccable Service

We stayed in the Monastario in early May. The hotel grounds are beautiful and our room was charming and comfortable. We had a room with extra oxygen, which helped with the altitude. The hotel is perfectly situated and we were able to walk to all of our restaurants. The breakfast buffet is great. But what makes this hotel truly stand out is the remarkably friendly and helpful staff and the perfect service. The bartenders and waiters were friendly, prompt, and accommodating without being at all intrusive. The people on the desk and the concierge were immediately on top of everything we needed, sometimes before we knew we needed it. A friend who was also in the hotel got sick one day and the staff checked on her regularly, convinced her to let them call a doctor, who arrived promptly, and sent flowers to her room. You just can't get a better hotel than this.

Historic, Elegant, Amazing!!!

We came down from Machu Picchu to spend the night in Cuzco after a business trip brought us to Peru. The Belmond Monasterio has a privileged location and is spectacularly run. The staff is attentive and respectful and the property is wonderfully cared for. The breakfast included nearly anything you could think of and was delicious! We want to return next year with our kids!
