Has everything you want for a business meeting
JaneUrbanon 24/05/2017 01:20This was my first visit to Belterra but we will book future business meetings here. The rates were reasonable, the accommodations are very nice and resort has so much to offer. It met all of our needs for this sales meeting. We even fit in a round of golf and the course is great.

Georgia Mon 23/05/2017 03:32This is top of the line from the rooms, to the lobby, to the casino.Rooms are luxurious and clean. Coffee pot along with coffee cream and sugar in each room. Built in blow dryer. Wifi and cable. Food out of this world. Cant wait for next years convention!
Do Cats Run Hotels?
Leah Qon 22/05/2017 00:00I think a cat/cats run this hotel because it smells like a giant litter box. Everywhere we went, reeked. And, because they allow smoking indoors, it presents several airborne hazards for those with less-than-perfect lungs. I, and several others who have asthma, in our group of over 200 ppl, suffered several attacks. We were there as participants and volunteers for the Kentucky Truck Driving Championship. A very uncomfortable place to spend two nights. I was ready to leave after 15 minutes when my first asthma attack started.
The staff was wonderful, friendly, helpful, kind, polite. Everywhere we went, we were treated well. Food quality was good, especially at the Stadium restaurant and bar. Our room was on the 8th floor, and other than the stench, it was comfortable and pretty. The bed was wonderful as were the pillows.
I think the entire building has a mold problem, and that, coupled with the smoking, makes this a place to which I will never return.
Great option
Jeff Ron 09/05/2017 15:37This location was convenient for a business meeting. The staff is very accommodating. The room felt new and was clean and elegant. There is a good range of dining options. The exercise facility is solid. Would definitely return. The golf course is very challenging and they do a great job with pace of play.
Too smoky, even our non-smoking hotel room
freelon 08/05/2017 17:27I would have given a higher rating, because we loved the hotel room we were given, but when we returned to the room in the evening we noticed that there was cigarette smoke pouring through a vent in the bathroom. I had to close the vent and close the door to the bathroom so that it wasn't so bad. We had a non-smoking room and I would expect that there should be enough filtration to not have smoke coming into the non-smoking rooms through the vents. We paid full price for the room so were very disappointed in this experience. I don't know that we would go back anytime soon.
