Perfect Holiday Stay
AvnishDesaion 08/08/2017 12:29My family and I visited Grindelwald and stayed in Hotel Belvedere - Although the location is not exactly next to the Train Station or the town centre (which is necessary to visit some of the attractions in Grindelwald) its location ensured perfect views of the Surrounding Alps, particularly Eiger.
The hotel staff are super friendly and make the effort to take care of you. From the beginning, they took the effort to take care of all our requirements:
1) Before checking in, you can populate your requirements and preferences for room furnishings
2) Care is taken to explain to you the hotel amenities and services
3) As vegetarians, options for food was easily available.
4) Being a family holiday, we wanted rooms that could enable us to spent time together and enjoy the great surroundings - Room 220 facing Eiger was fabulous!
Great Job Team Hotel Belvedere! Would definitely want to stay in the hotel again.

The staff will go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Their attention to details made us feel very special.
We took the Eiger view room and it was amazing.
The location of the hotel is great too, walking distance to the center of the town which has many great restaurants and cafes.
You will definitely enjoy your stay there

The room had recently been revamped so the decor and furnishings were excellent.
The hotel was equipped with all the leisure facilities and very peaceful.
The food was excellent both in choice and quality
All the staff we encounter were smartly dresses polite and efficient.

JPK1948on 20/07/2017 22:43We have just returned from another wonderful 14 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is ideally situated just minutes from the station and the views from the hotel terrace and our Eiger facing bedroom were spectacular. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and did everything to make our stay an enjoyable experience. The restaurant staff were especially welcoming and the buffet breakfast and evening dinner were most enjoyable. On the warmer nights we were able to have dinner on the terrace and the view of the Sun setting over the Eiger was spectacular. The hotel also has a very nice indoor pool and outside hot pool which were extremely refreshing after a good days walking in the region. We will certainly return to this hotel.
