Beautiful, private luxury cottage
casperWellingtonNZon 08/11/2017 06:48Lovely one room (plus bathroom) cottage. Spacious, with basic kitchen, small dining table and chairs, couch and lovely 4 poster bed. Bedroom was spacious with a huge bath overlooking a garden (completely private).
The breakfast was wonderful and it was nice to have a glass of port at the end of the evening.
Easy driving to Maleny (5 mins) and Montville (10 mins).
We were so please so have chosen a cottage rather than something more modern/hotel like as it felt like a real treat and that weren't home or away for work!

Quiet and private .
The owners are attentive without being intrusive .
Weekend breakfast ordered from menu was plentiful , beautifully presented and delivered to my verandah .
Wood fire was a real treat and the best reason to spend a lazy winter weekend in the mountains.
Melany cheese is a five minute walk away where you can indulge in fine cheese and wine to enjoy in front of your private wood fire.
Melany is 5 minute drive away where you can get anything forgotten .
Montville with a variety of cute shops also 10 minute drive .
OR don't go anywhere and just chill on the verandah , video , TV, wiifii , sound system all available .
Absolutely perfect! You must stay here and experience it for yourself!

Incredible.
Can't recommend it highly enough. We are definitely considering a trip back as we enjoyed it so much.
My Montville Trip

I have stayed here before and if you want to relax in a gorgeously fitted out cottage of your choice with a cosy fire this is the place to stay. Free Port, biscuits and the little touches which make you feel special. The breakfasts are superb! The hosts Sue and John deserve all of the credit for making Bendles the haven it is. The gardens are delightful and there is nothing better than sitting on the verandah with a hot cuppa watching the birds!!
Will be back again and again!!!
Beautiful surroundings
baza55on 01/05/2017 04:48Just had three nights at Bendles over a long weekend. Perfectly situated between Maleny and Montville. Sue and John were lovely hosts, very friendly but not intrusive. The setting of the cottages is beautiful with lots of open space and a lovely water feature to set it off. The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed, including port and buiscuts. Fire place was delightful with plenty of cut wood. Everything was topped as needed every day. The cooked breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Could not have asked for anything more, was just so relaxing and enjoyable. Will be back again, and again.
