At this price one could expect decent towels. Here they're old and used !
Much smaller rooms than the site indicates.
Used an ashtray on the terras ? Service didn't bother taken it away 👎
And ! Why does cleaning service puts our stuff in different places in the room ? Have they no education ??
Advice : better spend your money elsewhere.
Small enough to be cozy
Patrick Son 19/07/2017 15:34We had a good time staying at the Benkirai in July and found that it offers a great small oasis of Provençal calm in the middle of hustling bustling St. Tropez.
Our biggest tip: arrange for a scooter rental! The hotel helped us set this up before we arrived and it elevated our stay from a few nights at a hotel, to an unforgettable experience. The Benkirai is not in the center of town, but in one of the grandest villa neighborhoods between the town proper and the beaches. Having your own flexible transport gives you freedom to explore.
The hotel itself is good. Rooms are arguably very small, but the pool is large and sits under the canopies if ancient pine trees and breakfast is fresh and good.
Staff was very friendly throughout our stay, and as stated, was very effective at also helping us with rental etc. even before we arrived.
I'd stay here again, but preferably a bit off season when the prices are not at their highest and he town is not as crazy as it was. But that's personal.

campbell1405on 30/05/2017 08:41What an amazing place. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival. Shown to our room, which was first class. The staff were faultless in their customer service, making us feel very welcome and special. The hotel drove us where we wanted to go and even picked us up from a pre wedding event late at night (tolerating my terrible attempts to discuss football in broken French/ Portuguese/ English after one too many..). The small and intimate complex was immaculate and really felt like a calm, exclusive retreat. Will definitely recommend to anyone going to the area and will definitely return soon!
