We were only there for three nights. It's just 10 minutes away by taxi (approx Euro 15) and 20 minutes by bus (Euro 2.60
gephantombon 18/05/2017 18:45You can actually walk to or from the station as well. This B & B is actually a 2 bedroomed flat with separate bathrooms/shower. There are also a kitchen plus a sitting/dining room. It's within walking distance to a Mini market in case you want to buy some food and use the microwave to heat it. That's about 5 to 10 minutes away depending on how fast you walk and just round the corner from there you will find a very beautiful Cathedral in case you'd like to hear Mass, there are also lots of shops, restaurants, pizzerias etc. You can also explore the city by foot - it is a beautiful city and this is the 'modern' part but NOT thank goodness 'modern' with many hideous apartments. You can also get to the old part of Bergamo which is built on a hill either by bus or by cablecar. WE didn't have time to visit this part as since I use a wheelchair and it was rather cold and drizzlilng for the first two days we couldn't manage that. La Signora Fulvia who owns the apartment is a very kind and helpful lady. The place is also very clean and there is a tv in each bedroom. I do not know whether the price varies according to which time of the year you visit so you will have to ask the lady about that. You can find it and book over Facebook.

vani4kaon 16/08/2015 22:33Excellent location, nice and clean, fresh self service breakfast, free and fast wifi. Rooms are decorated with style. Side street, so it is relatively quiet, though in the very center. Good for any kind of traveller.

One Night in Bergamo
ozarkultrarunneron 03/09/2014 10:51Our family of six stayed here in August for one night as we were on our way to France. It was affordable, clean and very accommodating.
The rooms are big, perfect for large families, and the bathroom was good size as well. Between the two rooms that we had, we also had a separate bath.
The common kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed, and coffee, tea, yogurt, cereal, toast and jam were provided - nothing fancy, but something to start your day.
A good location, as you are just a few minutes walk to a street lined with shops and restaurants. You can catch a bus or take a 20 minute walk to the Alta City.
Before you arrive, be sure to call and let them know when you will get there. Someone will need to meet you to let you in and give you the keys.
We would stay here again - it's clean and comfortable, nothing fancy, but well maintained.
