Decent value for money
doritg888on 10/08/2017 11:37Honestly location is great and the rooms were pretty spacious. We were 3 people and ordered an extra bed and still had space. Just the mattress was too hard and the bed pillows and bed covers weren't very comfy. Also the location is a bit noisy if you are noise sensitive. We were at level 22 and it was ok, so ask for a higher level. the smell in the lobby was pretty bad, so it is not a place where you like to linger and stay on...but if you just need a clean place to sleep, this is a good option
Showing its age but still a good place to stay
Nate Son 09/08/2017 00:41My first impression was how well known this hotel is to taxi drivers. Arrived at Manila Airport and simply mentioned Berjaya Makati Hotel to the taxi driver and off we went. Check in was quite easy. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was a nice size, clean with a very comfortable bed. I thought my booking had included breakfast but it didn't. However, it was easy to add to my bill and once again the great staff took care of everything. The full international buffet was excellent and worth the price. The hotel is convenient to many restaurants, shopping, and entertainment venues, plus the hotel lounge has live music every evening. There is a pool on the 5th floor that is not very inviting as it is not well maintained. This property is starting to show its age and would benefit from a little renovation. Overall a great place to stay at a reasonable price.
Berjaya Makati Hotel....not a good first impression
judemelon 27/07/2017 09:31Upon approaching the hotel you see all these new & nice properties. It is a shock when your vehicle turns into a small lane & you realize that your hotel is really old. I have been to 3 Berjaya properties in Malaysia & they all look so much better than this.
However for the price that you pay it is value for money. The receptionist that attended to me was friendly, polite & helpful.
The hotel is in a good location with regards to food, mall & nightlife. However this is not a place where you want to bring your family to because of the number of working girls going in & out.
The hotel should consider a major renovation in view of the newer hotels around its vicinity.
Makati training
Orville Aon 05/07/2017 12:40I was able to visit the hotel because our Technical training was held in the place. The place is clean and the staff are pleasant. However the hotel is not as new, its clean, you can see wall designs and paints are old , and elevators are kind of slow as well. Though everything works. My visit was great.
