Christoffer Mon 03/08/2017 22:37This is a very cute and efficient hotel with a very nice, friendly and helpful staff. We felt welcome and safe, and it isn’t too pricey either. The only minus is the lack of airconditioning. We had a table fan in our room, but it got quite stuffy pretty soon.
Friendly, clean, convenient
Karin Son 02/08/2017 21:18Lovely little hotel in a quiet location but so close to all amenities. Staff are really friendly and helpful and cannot do enough to help you. Tasteful decor and loved the different artists featured. Room was clean and lovely. Great complimentaries - home made biscuits, fresh fruit, tea and coffee with a cafetiere and the only place Ive come across that gives you free sherry! Even the mini bar prices were reasonable. One really useful thing to be aware of - if you want to go to Bristol Zoo, get your tickets through the hotel reception. We saved £13 each by doing this! Would recommend this hotel every time.
Not what I expected

Was in a room on the third floor, It was very warm with no air conditioning and you could not leave window open at night due to noise from adjacent premises. The room was rather small. It was in urgent need of an upgrade. There was mould on the metal window and the bathroom/toilet was very dated I have stayed in better accommodation in London wth cheaper prices View from window was the rear of other businesses

Spackers18on 23/07/2017 17:25The location of this hotel is great... very central. However, that's the only plus. Paid £171 !! For a basement room, dark, dingy, dated and stale smelling. Shabby decor. Whole hotel felt very dated. Front desk staff totally disorganized. The room was almost next door to the downstairs bar, very noisy and then to top it all the refuse truck came at the crack of dawn. Poorly glazed rooms mean you hear all outside noise. Highly regret choosing this hotel as I've stayed in other Bristol hotels many times before. Would not return.

Valerie Mon 13/07/2017 18:21Stayed for 2 nights in suite 603. So clean and spacious. Convenient location. Comfy bed. Chandeliers. Fire places in bathroom. Mini kitchen for self catering if you wished. Complimentary sherry. Wonderful.
