Karnival of Kulture Girls Trip
missbimshaon 12/07/2017 15:26Six friends and I went to Berlin in June for Karnival. This apartment is in a great location. The metro is a 2-3 blocks away. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Schoenhouse living is clean, modern and has everything you need in the apartment. Plenty of space for 3-4 adults. The supermarket was a 3-4 block walk. It's was safe to walk around late at night. Taxis are available any time outside of the apartment. Definitely would stay there again on my next trip.
Nice apartment in central location
koernerkayon 27/10/2016 16:41A modern place with nice apartments. The hallways look like a typical German residential building, not like a hotel. There are two metro stations in walking distance. The breakfast is nice. At the table next to us somebody had several food allergies and they really tried to cater to that person in great detail.
The street is somewhat noisy, but hey, your in downtown Berlin!
Wonderful place for good price

Staff is nice and helpful.
I recomend to call first if you are not arriving in check-in time. We arrived about 20:00 and picked keys with password from the safe, next to the entrance.
The studio was lovely, everything new and clean. Kirchen was great for making breakfast or late dinner. ( We were eating in the city during the day, anyway)
Even though I made reservation for 4 people, than I repeated the request on phone, when we arrived there was set ony 1 bed for 2 presons. Nobody was on the reception, or answering the phone. So we had to share a blanket for the first night, which was uncomfortable. We stopped at the reception next morning and service got us 2 more blankets and bed sheet.
Most of the other rooms are under reconstruction right now, but we weren ´ t disturbed by noise at all.
There are not many restaurants nearby, but 1 U-bahn stop to the city centre is great italian restaurant with reasonable prices and tasty food.
Good location and helpful staff
Bozidar Kon 26/10/2015 09:48The location is very good, just 200m from the tube station. A disvantage is, there are not any restaurants in the vicinity. The breakfest is good, and the staff is incredible helpful. I had a temperature, and the maid despite the sunday, went to the farmacy to bay me a medicine. It would deserve 5 stars if they had WI-FI. The Hot-Spot does not work properly. Anyhow I can only recomend this hotel.
Berlin Apartments Strausberger platz 7 - to be avoided
kobidanion 10/11/2014 16:39The apartment has an old and used feeling, and was not very clean, although you have to pay an extra 29 eur for cleaning. We actually had to wash the dishes before the first use. The heating was switched off during the night and the hot-water supply was changing while showering (between burning hot or cold). Also, they ripped us off for 'extra people' staying (made a booking for 4 people and we were only 4...).
Picture on booking.com come are far from reality, everything is 20 years older in real life than on the pictures...
would not recommend it to friends.
