What People are saying
Just what my husband needed!
Piesmomon 12/06/2017 16:27My husband needed to make a quick trip to Springfield to buy some heavy machinery. There was a big sale going on the next morning, and he said people actually spend the night in the parking lot of this equipment company in order to be "first one in" when the doors open. After driving six hours of driving each way, I wasn't happy with the idea of him cooped up in the truck all night!
I did some quick research and found the Best Budget Inn in Springfield, MO, which was just several miles from his destination. I called and spoke with a very pleasant woman, booked the reservation for $60 (plus tax), and hoped my husband would get a good night's rest. He was extremely satisfied with the property. The room was clean and comfortable, all amenities in the bath, just no coffee pot for an early riser. He had to admit, it was certainly a better deal than overnighting in his truck! I'm so happy that we found this property, in case he needs to go there again.
Horrible
KaliAnna55on 11/02/2017 02:54The room wasn't that bad but the people that run it that's another story! We left in the morning to eat by 930 am they called and said all of our stuff was at the front desk mind you checkout isn't until 11... They were trying to keep our belongings mind you things that were very irreplaceable from out deceased grandparents they lied and said we smoked in there which was a total lie!! Said we broke the refrigerator another lie because we had pizza never used it!! She demands another payment to get our belongings... Good advice for anyone is to keep driving I've never in my life experienced such a thing! Sad!!!
"Pet Friendly"
Scott130on 01/02/2017 20:13The rooms are very large. The Innkeepers were genuine in their happiness to see Me rent one of their rooms. (But) wow! the price is high to stay there! I'm wondering if it is because of the proximity to Branson that the rents are so high? It's a pleasant stay, as long as You can afford to do so!
A pleasant surprise
Jen Jon 22/09/2016 21:26We stopped after a long day's driving at what we expected to be a typical 1970's era motel, just hoping for a few hours sleep mid-road trip.
What we found was a beautifully kept and lovingly cared for room that was lovely and inviting. The owners were so kind and helpful and welcomed our two large dogs. If I were ever to vacation in Springfield I would consider this a perfect place for my family to stay.
Very clean and tastefully renovated by a caring family!
