Can't really complain considering what we paid. Very basic, with shared facilities, but clean and very handy for the port. Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food, but if it doesn't take yoyr fancy there are plenty of fast food places and restaurants not far away.

Probably the cheapest Hotel in France

I confess to booking through a popular cash back site, which meant I got 2 rooms for about £15 each. There are 6 of us and for that it's a hot shower and a cheap bed for the night. We stayed here a couple of years ago. Believe me it's improved, it doesn't smell of smoke half as much as it did,and the lorry drivers basically sit outside and chat. It's a good location for Calais and Dunkerque. The showers are outside and so are the loos. They are functional with lots of hot water. There is a selection of French TV channels, but you pay extra for wifi. Take your own towel and the ones supplied are basically tea towels. We stayed for about 8 hours, it did the job for half the price of the hotel over the road. I would stay again en route. It's about time Accor gave it a coat of paint though.

You know what to expect with this chain, cheap and functional. For price yiu get what yiu pay for, a bed and shower facilities. Good location for motorway and ferry. Room ok, shower was fine although smelt fusty on entry but not surprising as no ventilation. Breakfast ok for price.

Smelly room

After paying 50 euros for triple room I was expected to find it clean and free of cigarette smell, but just entered the room we smelled of smoke. Sleep was almost impossible, because the pillows and blanket stank smokers. After child's crawling his trousers become dirty. By the way 1 towel for tree person's in the room is it normal?

I realise there is a price issue here, you get what you pay for as my mother in law reminds me. That said, the room was battered, everything broken or torn. Dirty marks on everything and the toilet - don't be in a hurry, remember not to take too long once inside and imagine the last day of Glastonbury. About there! We would quite honestly have been better off in the car at the ferry port. No staff there to speak to, we left before the breakfast so I couldn't comment on that. There really was no benefit to staying here.
