Terrible! Wouldn't let my enemy stay there

This place needs shut down it is FILTHY!!!! The lobby was absolutely gross and when we went to the room and saw it was just as disgusting we immediately booked another hotel downtown. The whole place was pretty sketchy and wouldn't be a place I would want to be in after dark.

I wrote a review on this but it did not show up. So I am resubmitting one. The hotel is more like a motel. The website they have on it is very misleading. It's deceiving. It's broken down, located in the getto. No continental breakfast or coffee. No micro or frig in rooms. Rooms are filthy, smelly. Did not use the shower due to it being so dingy. Linens we're clean. Towels were cleaner than the tub. Shady place and shady people. One stranger was watching us the whole time. Stairs are very dangerous. Stairs are dark and a good place to get mugged and no one will see. Walls are paper thin. Can hear people yelling, screaming and dogs barking at 3am. Not sufficient enough locks. Poor, poor place. I wouldn't pay 25.00 dollars to sleep here. I have pics to prove how dirty and cracked walls are and bathroom! Area not safe either. We kept waking up to check on our car because of shady man watching us. The website pics are false. That's very disturbing to me. Not a safe place for children. From what I understand you can only get free wi-Fii if you have a valid drivers liecense and if ur room is close to the main lobby. Also the front desk area is extremely small. Have to talk to a clerk in street clothes behind glass! What does that tell you. I wouldn't recommend His place for people who live in the getto. I believe it's used more by prositutes and drug dealers. Was up by 5 am and gone! Did not even use the shower so dirty. Remember I have pics to prove this. Going to see if I can somehow post them.

Don't stay at an econo lodge!!!!

We stayed in Brunswick Ga. March 2009 room was clean price was good. BUT!!!!!!!!!!! My credit card was charged $62.62 then when I got my statement I was charged extra for having a pet that I do not own. I called them and asked why I was charged extra. They "said" the cleaning lady said I had a pet then the receptionist accused me of being a Liar. Needless to say I will never stay at any motel chain of econo lodge again, after being scammed. Please boycott this motel chain, or pay in cash. Don't get scammed. Be smart.

Well worth it

The bed was comfortable, the room was adequate, TVs are a bit small, but the rate was fantastic and the people are what makes this place work very friendly and hospitable if you want Luxury go spend $180 per night if you want a comfortable place to sleep this is it.
The food at the Restaurant is good, plentiful and inexpensive.

This is perhaps the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in, I spent the first day scrubbing the bathroom, unfortunately there wasn't another hotel in a 20 mile radios
