Clean, Quiet, and comfortable

We asked if we could check in early as we needed to get to an event at check-in time so needed to change clothes. We were allowed one hour early, which was perfect. This hotel is convenient to both the funeral home and the church we needed to attend, but had we been interested in shopping, it is also just across the street from Tanger Mall. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked for a comfortable temperature, there was a microwave, refrigerator and 4-cup coffee pot in the room. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room to move around in the room - even though there was a large sofa and a chair in addition to the queen size bed.
The breakfast is not good if you have particular dietary needs. However, the Landmark Restaurant is a very short drive away and their food is excellent.

Not Worth the Money

We opened the room door and thought "Wow!" What a nice big room! Then we turned on the light and saw the wear and tear of the wood furniture and the dust underneath. Then we went into the bathroom and could see a foggy film on the countertop and the bottom of the tub was partially black. Because we had such a late check in, we stayed. The beds were clean and fairly comfortable. The breakfast was decent but wish they had some hard boiled eggs or some type of protein. Would not stay here again.

I was on my way to visit the Amana Colonies and this was the most reasonable in price. It was about 15 minutes from Amana. Check in was easy as he already had the paperwork printed. The surprise was the room which was uniquely decorated. Walls and furniture decorated as if in a log cabin. The pool was so inviting I was sad I hadn't brought a suit. Everything in the room was clean and comfortable. A breakfast offered in the morning was not particularily appealing. I plan on staying again when coming thru.

Under New management, we loved our stay. They give military discounts, and ask if we would like to upgrade our room for 10.00. Of course we would. We spent 2 nights in a very roomy suit with a Jacuzzi. Loved the spacious room, lots of dressers, and places for everything. Bathroom was huge. Shower had great pressure with a massage. Staff changed our sheets and cleaned the room, even folded hubbys clothes while we were out. Indoor pool was clean and large, out door section of the pool was also clean with heated water making night or early morning swims very comfortable. also has fitness center.

I travel from Denver to Boston by car twice a year. I couldn't tell you how happy I was to find Cozy Inn & Suites in Willimasburg Iowa. Just west of Iowa City right off I-80. It was clean, it was comfortable, wonderful amenities (indoor/outdoor pool, complimentary coffee/snack/breakfast bar), easy access from highway with nearby plazas for gas and food, quiet, friendly hosts and REASONABLY priced. I wish there were more of these. From now on I will call ahead and stay here on cross country treks.
