Interesting location surrounded by small aircraft

Nice large dinner terrace next to the small-airfield runway, perfect for a hot day like yesterday, good choice of meals, nice staff. The location is excellent for those who wish to use the Grenchen airport (domestic only), it's right next to it, 10 seconds walk from the various air schools and the other airfield offices. The hotel room was okay, just for the one night on business in this neighborhood. Interesting view on the small aircraft parked in front of the hotel. The room itself was not spectacular, airco in the room, wifi. Quite adequate. Breakfast included in the room rate. Easy parking. The only thing I didn't like was the bright bathroom light that automatically switched-on each time when entering, ennoying in the night. The shower was fine, but would have preferred a bathtub.

Pleasant business hotel

I stayed here for one night. It's a real business hotel. Rooms are good but nothing to write home about. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast good but could be better, the presentation especially could be improved. There's a bar, but it closes very early. The hotel is quiet isolated, there is not much to do around the hotel.

An airfield delight

The weather meant I had an unexpected stay at this hotel. I'd been to the restaurant before, but never used the hotel. Great welcome and surprised by the room. Very clean and just what was required. View over the airfield and surprisingly busy restaurant given the location. Food to a good standard. Will stay again.

Short Swiss trip

Good value hotel outside Biel with a great restaurant, friendly staff with great wifi through the whole hotel, typical Swiss breakfast self service, on site parking closet to both good road and rail connections.

I stayed here for 2 nights, after flying a small jet from Florida to Grenchen. Wonderful hotel with all the basics. Good breakfast, and the cost of this hotel.. very good for Switz. If you like to watch planes, this is the place. Lots of activity with a busy little airport. Seems that plenty of people come to enjoy the patio at the restaurant, and enjoy the airport activity.
