Clean friendly corporate dated

Stayed for a week. Always clean always friendly. Slightly dated and food not very exciting. But has a car park and is easy walking into centre. Car parking in Middelburg is a pain so this is a real plus for us. This is a budget business hotel.

Great place to stay and eat

Stayed here many times mainly because it's a great place to stay. Comfortable rooms complete with mini bar TVs and wifi. Very clean and staff polite and helpful. Short walk into town ( unless you choose the hotel bicycle hire.) Ample free parking and also a gym next door if you're so inclined. Ample continental breakfast or hot eggs and bacon etc. if preferred. Also very handy for the railway station if you fancy a train ride into Amsterdam for example.

Nice hotel and with reasonable rooms. Good breakfast, although when the hotel is fully booked, it can be difficult to find a table. Free parking and only 10 minutes walking from the city. Nice terras. Friendly staff. The dogs get a nice treat while checking in

Dated hotel but comfortable enough

This hotel could do with a major refurbishment. It looks really dated. The room was on the small side and the bathroom tiny. Still, it was comfortable enough. The breakfast was better than expected. If, like us, you're only there for the night, it will do very well. I would not recommend it for a longer stay.

Average. Fine for a short break.

This hotel is fine if you just want somewhere to rest your head and don't care about luxury. Middelburg is a lovely city with a great atmosphere and I'll definitely be back! Hotel looks pretty dated in the reception/hall but our room was nice enough. Very small - this doesn't bother us, but you may want to look elsewhere if you want a spacious room. I thought the bed was comfortable but my husband and our friends all found the beds uncomfortable and too soft. Room was very hot. The extractor fan in our bedroom was broken, it never turned off and was SO noisy. It kept waking us up during the night. I was disappointed that we weren't asked if we enjoyed our stay at reception. Just took our keys and walked away.....
